Josh Giddey

CHI Guard #3

Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players

Josh Giddey finished Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks with 10 points (4-of-7 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), one rebound, six assists and one three-pointer.

After a rough first three games to begin the season, Giddey has shot 50 percent or better from the field in three of his last five outings. The final line against the Knicks wasn’t great, but at least category-league managers didn’t take a hit in the field-goal percentage category.
Caleb Wilson

CHI Forward #8

Caleb Wilson recorded five points (2-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, one steal and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks.

After scoring at least 16 points in each of his first seven appearances, Wilson had his first bad game as a pro. The rookie forward shot 2-of-12 from the field, making just one of seven three-point attempts. Even worse for category-league managers was that the overall stat line was subpar. Wilson will look to bounce back on Sunday against the 76ers in another challenging matchup.
Norman Powell

CHI Guard #24

Norman Powell accounted for 12 points (3-of-12 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), one rebound and one assist in Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks.

Powell, who dropped 30 points in the Bulls’ October 28 home loss to the Knicks, struggled mightily in Wednesday’s rematch. The veteran guard missed all five of his three-point attempts, and he needed a 6-of-7 night at the foul line to reach double figures in points. Despite averaging 19.3 points per game, Powell has been an underwhelming option in category leagues.
Jalen Smith

CHI Forward-Center #25

Jalen Smith (hand) will not return against the Knicks on Wednesday.

Jalen Smith sustained the injury after a hard fall. Once Nicolas Claxton returns, he will be the presumed starter. Until then, look for Zach Collins to take the majority of the minutes that Jalen Smith had.
Nic Claxton

CHI Center #9

Nic Claxton (hamstring) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.

Claxton will miss Wednesday’s game against the Knicks with a left hamstring strain. Jalen Smith (finger) is available to play and should start with Claxton sidelined.
Jalen Smith

CHI Forward-Center #25

Jalen Smith (finger) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.

With Nic Claxton (hamstring) out for another game, Smith will continue to start at center for the Bulls.
Jalen Smith

CHI Forward-Center #25

Jalen Smith (finger) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.

Yet to miss a game this season, Smith has filled in for the injured Nic Claxton as the Bulls’ starting center. However, with Claxton close to making his Bulls debut, Smith’s role will likely change soon.
Nic Claxton

CHI Center #9

Nic Claxton (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.

For the first time this season, the Bulls have listed Claxton as questionable ahead of a game. If he can play on Wednesday, Zach Collins could see his playing time decrease after playing 10 minutes in Monday’s loss to the 76ers. The question is whether the Bulls would start Claxton immediately; that would push Jalen Smith to the bench.
Jalen Smith

CHI Forward-Center #25

Jalen Smith finished with 13 points (6-of-10 FGs), seven rebounds, four assists and one three-pointers against the 76ers on Monday.

Smith played through a finger injury and remained in the starting role that he has held all season. This was a decent performance for him during what has been a strong start to the year. However, Nic Claxton (hamstring) is getting closer to making his debut for Chicago. When Claxton is healthy and up to speed, he’ll likely be this team’s starting center. Smith holds value as a temporary starter, but when Claxton returns, Smith’s value will take a big hit.
Josh Giddey

CHI Guard #3

Josh Giddey posted a double-double on Monday with 13 points (5-of-15 FGs), four rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers against the 76ers.

Giddey’s scoring struggles continued in this game, but when he has played at least 25 minutes in a game this season, he has dished out at least 10 assists. That trend continued in this game, which ended up being one of his better performances this season. Giddey certainly hasn’t played to his ADP to this point of the year, but outings like this one will certainly help redeem his value.
