Julian Strawther had 25 points (9-of-19 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one steal and four three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Spurs.

Strawther had almost a repeat performance of his game in the win over the Thunder on Friday. The 23-year-old small forward started, led the Nuggets with 34 minutes, dropped 20 points and hit four three-pointers. Sound familiar? Strawther is likely to be just a depth option as the Nuggets head into the playoffs.

Nikola Jokić had 23 points (7-of-12 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one three-pointer in the Nuggets’ 128-118 victory over the Spurs on Sunday.

Jokić finished the regular season averaging 27.7 points, 12.9 rebounds and 10.7 assists as he became the first player in league history to lead the league in rebounds and assists in the same season. The 31-year-old center only played 18 minutes, but still had 23 points and eight rebounds in the win over the Spurs. The Nuggets head into the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.

Jokić will suit up, but he will only played a limited role to ensure he meets the 65-game requirement to be eligible for postseason awards. Jonas Valanciunas started at center on Friday and should play significant role in this game.

Strawther moved into the starting lineup along with the other reserves and had a pretty good game against the Thunder on Friday. The 23-year-old shooting guard had 22 points and four three-pointers. Strawther led the Nuggets with 34 minutes and could see a similar workload in the season finale against the Spurs on Sunday.

Jonas Valančiūnas had 23 points (9-of-14 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 17 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one three-pointer in the Nuggets’ 127-107 victory over the Thunder on Friday.

The Nuggets’ backups beat the Thunder’s backups and Valančiūnas led the way with a monster game down low. The 33-year-old center has shown over the past two seasons that he can put up great fantasy games when given the opportunity. Valančiūnas can be considered a league-winner in currently active fantasy leagues.

Tyus Jones, Tim Hardaway Jr., Julian Strawther, Bruce Brown and Jonas Valančiūnas will start Friday’s game against the Thunder.

While the Thunder will be without four of their usual starters, the Nuggets are without all five of theirs. Hardaway and Brown may be the safest options for fantasy managers in active leagues, but all five can offer value in their respective roles given Denver’s limited depth.
