The Washington Wizards won the 2006 NBA Draft Lottery.

The Wizards will be followed by the Jazz, Grizzlies and Bulls in the top four of the draft order. Washington had a 14 percent chance of landing the first overall pick, which was tied with Indiana and Brooklyn for best odds under the current lottery system. AJ Dybantsa, Cameron Boozer and Darryn Petterson are among the top prospects in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Rayan Rupert had 21 points (8-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 12 rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Rockets.

Rupert finished the season with three excellent games in a row. A former second round pick on a two-way deal, Rupert has been given plenty of minutes by the Grizzlies in the second half of the season and only flashed his potential. Still just 21, he could be worth stashing in dynasty, but expectations should be tempered.
Walter Clayton

Walter Clayton Jr. (hip) has been ruled out against the Rockets on Sunday.

Clayton will miss a second straight game. On Friday, Lucas Williamson and Jahmai Mashack each played 48 minutes. Expect more strange rotations for Memphis in this one, with Williamson and Mashack likely filling all the backcourt minutes. As for Clayton, the 2025 first-rounder came over to Memphis in the Jaren Jackson Jr. trade and could figure in Memphis’ rotation in 2026-27 if Ja Morant is dealt this offseason. He has some conditional fantasy value, but he’s going to need to shoot better than 38.4 percent to be a major cog going forward.

Adama Bal (ankle) is out for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.

Bal joins the long list of Grizzlies players who won’t be available for Sunday’s regular-season finale. The rookie was on a 10-day contract, and he hopes that his play was good enough to earn a summer league opportunity with the Grizzlies or another NBA team.

Javon Small (thigh) is available for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.

Small was also available for Friday’s loss to the Jazz, but got a DNP-CD as the Grizzlies played just a six-man rotation. There’s no telling whether he’ll play or not heading into the regular season finale.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper (ankle) is available for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.

Prosper was initially questionable for Sunday’s game. Given how shorthanded the Grizzlies are, he should play significant minutes for the regular-season finale.

Javon Small (thigh) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.

Small was available for Friday’s loss to the Jazz, but he received a DNP-CD on a night when Memphis played just six players. Even if he’s made available for Sunday, there’s no guarantee that the two-way guard gets onto the court.

Walter Clayton Jr. (hip), Adama Bal (ankle) and Olivier-Maxence Prosper (ankle) are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.

While Clayton and Prosper did not play in Friday’s loss to the Jazz, Bal started and logged 38 minutes. Getting Clayton and Prosper back on Sunday would do wonders for the Grizzlies, who played just six players due to injuries. Lucas Williamson and Jahmai Mashack played all 48 minutes on Friday.
Rayan Rupert

Rayan Rupert provided a boost off the bench with 16 points (7-of-25 FGs), 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals, one block and one three-pointer against the Jazz on Friday.

After being inactive for two games, Rupert was back in the rotation for this game. He came off the bench at first, but he ended up starting the second half. His shot was inefficient, but he was able to contribute across the board in the box score. The former second-round pick signed a two-way deal with Memphis in February and is still only 21 years old. He still holds enough upside for dynasty managers to consider him as a stash, but it is unlikely this production carries over into next season.
Jahmai Mashack

MEM Guard #21

Jahmai Mashack recorded a triple-double on Friday with 13 points (6-of-13 FGs), 15 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals and 10 turnovers in a 147-101 loss to the Jazz on Friday.

Mashack recorded the dreaded quadruple-double. The triple-double part was nice, but the 10 turnovers really put a damper on his outing. The rookie has had some strong outings this year, specifically as a source of steals. This type of production only happens in April. Mashack should have a productive career as a rotation defender, but managers shouldn’t expect many more triple-doubles in his future.
