Robinson’s absence on Wednesday freed up a few minutes for Ariel Hukporti, who did not provide much value in the backup center role. With Robinson available, Hukporti may fall out of the Knicks’ rotation entirely.

OG Anunoby (hamstring) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Jazz.

This is the first time that Anunoby has been considered questionable for a game since straining his hamstring during a November 14 loss to the Magic. So, even if he does not play on Friday, a return to action may not be far away. Either Miles McBride or Josh Hart will head to the bench once Anunoby is healthy enough to play, with the former being the more likely option.
Mikal Bridges

NYK Guard-Forward #25

Mikal Bridges accounted for 16 points (7-of-14 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Hornets.

Bridges has now recorded at least two steals in 12 straight games, with that category being one of the reasons why he has been an elite fantasy option this season. The Knicks guard/forward recorded another complete stat line against the Hornets, and that has been the routine for him. Not only is Bridges continuing to provide top-10 value in nine-cat formats, but he’s closing in on that threshold in eight-cat formats as well.

Josh Hart finished Wednesday’s win over the Hornets with 15 points (4-of-11 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), eight rebounds, eight assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer.

While he didn’t shoot the ball as well as he did in Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics, Hart flirted with a triple-double against the Hornets. He finished two rebounds and two assists shy, but the complete stat line will please those who have Hart rostered in category leagues. After a slow start to the season, Hart is shooting 49.7 percent from the field, and he’s shot 14-of-29 from three over his last five games. At a minimum, he’s properly managing the finger injury that he aggravated just before the start of training camp.
Jalen Brunson

NYK Guard #11

Jalen Brunson notched 26 points (9-of-16 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), two rebounds, five assists, three steals and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s win over the Hornets.

Coming off his worst performance of the season, Brunson rebounded nicely on Wednesday. Given his play since arriving in New York and Charlotte’s porous defense, that was unsurprising. Friday’s matchup with the Jazz is another opportunity for Brunson to put up a gaudy stat line; while Utah has been competitive on most nights, they’re ranked 29th in points allowed per game and 27th in defensive rating.

Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 35 points (13-of-23 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 18 rebounds, five assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Hornets.

After scoring 29 points against the Celtics on Tuesday, Towns did precisely what stars are supposed to do when faced with an overwhelmed opponent. In addition to recording his fourth 30-point game of the season, KAT matched his season-high with 18 rebounds. A top-25 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks, Towns’ season-long fantasy value continues to edge closer to his Yahoo! ADP (12).
Mitchell Robinson

NYK Center-Forward #23

Mitchell Robinson (ankle) has been ruled out against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Robinson will miss the second leg of New York’s back-to-back, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. The last time he was unavailable, Ariel Hukporti filled out 12 reserve minutes at center, where he was unproductive in fantasy hoops.
Jalen Brunson

NYK Guard #11

Jalen Brunson recorded 15 points (6-of-21 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics.

While he matched his season-high with 11 assists, Brunson had his worst scoring game of the season on Tuesday. The 15 points were a season low, and the Knicks’ point guard had not shot below 30 percent from the field since the season-opening win over Cleveland. Boston did a good job of making Brunson uncomfortable offensively, and his off night was too much to overcome in the end. He’ll look to rebound when the Knicks host the Hornets on Wednesday.
Josh Hart

Josh Hart accounted for 19 points (7-of-11 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and four three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics.

Hart has scored at least 19 points in four straight games, and the overall value has made him one of the best options in fantasy basketball over this period. Over the past week, the Knicks forward has been a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, cracking the top-5 in the former. After a slow start to the season, in part due to finger and back injuries, Hart has locked into a comfortable role and flourished. He’s rostered in 81 percent of Yahoo! leagues, and that number may increase before the end of Week 7.
Karl-Anthony Towns

NYK Center-Forward #32

Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 29 points (12-of-20 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and two three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics.

While the Knicks’ four-game win streak ended on Tuesday, Towns had another encouraging offensive performance. After scoring 28 points on 8-of-21 shooting in wins over the Hornets and Bucks, KAT has totaled 51 points on 20-of-35 shooting over the last two. He’s providing third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats, performing slightly better in the former. If Towns plays on Wednesday against the Hornets, that could be a big game for him, given Charlotte’s defensive struggles (24th in points allowed and defensive rating).
