According to Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Cleveland Cavaliers are considering making an offer to former Hawks forward Josh Childress.

Childress was one of the NBA’s most efficient scorers when he played in the NBA, and has spent the last two years playing in the Greece for Olympiacos. The former Stanford product averaged 15.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game in 20 Euroleague games last season. Childress has until July 15th to opt of of his contract with Olympiacos.

According to Windhorst, the Cavs have also discussed making a trade for Al Jefferson, but the talks are “not serious” at the moment.
