The above is a picture of Spencer Hawes’ head at a charity basketball game played at Seattle’s Key Arena Saturday, the former home of the Seattle Supersonics. The team was moved to Oklahoma City, but after the game Hawes, a Washington native, expressed his desire for basketball to return to Seattle (story via The Seattle Times, via Ball Don’t Lie):

The former Washington Husky and Seattle Prep star, who shaved a silhouette of the Space Needle on the back of his head for this game, led a KeyArena crowd of 5,070 in a postgame rally cry.

“I just want to leave y’all with one last thing,” Hawes shouted. “Come home, Sonics! Come home, Sonics!”
