Flynn has yet to play an NBA game in his second season with the Timberwolves. He had hip surgery in July and played in two games in the D-League as he tries to work back into game shape.
Flynn had eight points and 12 assists on Friday night. The plan was for him to play a back-to-back on Saturday, but that game was canceled because of bad weather.
The Wolves also hope to get swingman Martell Webster back on Tuesday night. Webster has not played all season because of back surgery.
The Timberwolves are currently 6-18 and have the worst point differential in the Western Conference, so it’s safe to say they could use all the help they can get at this point -- hopefully Flynn and Webster have made full recoveries and can help Minnesota pull itself out of the cellar.
