Isaac missed Thursday’s game against Denver and could miss a second straight game. His minutes would typically just go to Tristan da Silva, but he is questionable as well, so Jett Howard could see a huge bump in minutes after scoring 12 points in 29 minutes on Thursday.

Da Silva’s absence from Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets freed up minutes for Orlando’s other reserves, with Jase Richardson playing 19 minutes. While there could come a point when Richardson is worth a look, that time isn’t now. Even if da Silva remains out, leave Richardson on the waiver wire.

Jalen Suggs (hip) is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.

Suggs was held out of Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets, and it appears likely that he’ll miss a second game on Saturday. While Tyus Jones started against Denver, he played only 19 minutes, which complicates his streaming value. Jett Howard logged 29 minutes off the bench, but he’s even more challenging to trust than Jones.

Anthony Black amassed 22 points (8-of-18 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, three assists, two steals and two three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets.

Black has scored in double figures in five straight games, starting the last three as the Magic have been without Franz Wagner. With Jalen Suggs also out on Thursday, there was more room for Black to score, and he finished with his first 20-point game since December 1. While Black is ranked outside the top-150 in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks, the current state of Orlando’s rotation makes him worth the risk in some 12-team leagues. Don’t be afraid to add him ahead of Saturday’s game against the Jazz.

Wendell Carter Jr. finished Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets with 26 points (11-of-15 FGs), nine rebounds, one steal, two blocks and four three-pointers.

For the first time in over a month, Carter has reached double figures in three straight games. His performance against the Nuggets was his most productive of the season, with the Magic center recording his first 20-point game. Over the past two weeks, Carter has been close to a top-75 player in eight-cat formats. Unfortunately, his inconsistent offensive output makes ECJ challenging to trust outside of deep leagues.
Paolo Banchero

Paolo Banchero recorded 26 points (9-of-21 FGs, 8-of-12 FTs), 16 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets.

Having last recorded a double-double on November 4, Banchero posted his first triple-double of the season on Thursday. He didn’t bring much to the table defensively, but the overall efficiency was good, with Banchero committing only two turnovers. Field-goal percentage has been the biggest issue for Banchero when it comes to fantasy value, making him a better option in points leagues than category leagues. That said, Saturday’s game against the Jazz is set up to be a good one for Banchero.

Tyus Jones, Anthony Black, Desmond Bane, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. will start Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.

The Magic won’t have Jalen Suggs for Thursday’s game, and Tristan da Silva is also out. As a result, Jones moves into the starting lineup, and he’s worth streaming when allowed to start. Black will also boast a higher fantasy ceiling due to the absences.

Tristan da Silva (shoulder) is out for Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.

The Magic are severely shorthanded in the backcourt against the Nuggets on Thursday. Orlando is already down Jalen Suggs and Franz Wanger and now da Silva has also been ruled out. Jett Howard and Jase Richardson should see addition minutes in this one, though neither are anything more than a desperation streaming option in deeper formats.
