Dillon Brooks amassed 18 points (7-of-20 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, two assists and two three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Timberwolves.

Brooks, who was a game-time decision with a sore Achilles tendon, did not have his best night shooting the basketball. However, that should not put a damper on what has been a surprisingly productive season for the Suns’ wing. Brooks is providing top-100 value in eight-cat formats, which exceeds his Yahoo! ADP (140) by a solid margin. Whether he can keep this up for the entire season remains to be seen, but Brooks deserves consideration in more 12-team formats. He’s currently rostered in 43 percent of Yahoo! leagues.
Collin Gillespie

Collin Gillespie tallied 19 points (6-of-15 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, one block and three three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Timberwolves.

Gillespie has emerged as a player worth considering in 12-team formats, especially with Devin Booker and Jalen Green sidelined by injuries. He’s been given a green light on offense, and the former two-way contract player has taken advantage. Gillespie scored 11 points in the fourth quarter on Monday, the second time this season that he’s proven to be the difference in a win over the Timberwolves. If Booker can’t play in Wednesday’s NBA Cup quarterfinal against the Thunder, Gillespie will be worth picking up in standard leagues.

Mark Williams finished Monday’s win over the Timberwolves with 22 points (7-of-9 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one three-pointer.

The move to Phoenix has given Williams a new lease on life basketball-wise. Health has not been an issue thus far, which is far more important than his scoring and rebounding averages decreasing compared to his 2024-25 numbers. Williams’ 22 points on Monday were the most in a game for him since October 27, when he recorded a season-high 25 in a loss to the Jazz. Over the past two weeks, the 7-footer has provided fourth-round value in eight-cat formats.

Dunn would be worth a look in deep leagues, as the Suns won’t have Devin Booker available, either.

Monday’s game will be the third that Booker has missed since suffering a strained right groin during the Suns’ December 1 win over the Lakers. There is hope that he will be able to play in Wednesday’s NBA Cup quarterfinal against the Thunder, but that isn’t guaranteed. Collin Gillespie should remain in the starting lineup, which has raised his fantasy ceiling.

Boyea produced a season-high in points and finished as the Suns’ second leading scorer on Friday. More than half of his scoring production came in the fourth quarter when the game was mostly out of reach and in the Rockets’ favor. Still, he shot efficiently and made the most of his 18 minutes of game action. While Friday’s outing was a strong one, Bouyea is not someone to consider rostering in fantasy leagues.

The momentum from Monday’s 28-point outing against the Lakers did not carry over into Friday’s contest for Gillespie. He went 1-of-7 from deep and scored fewer than half the points he produced in Monday’s season-high performance. Still, Gillespie was the Suns’ third-leading scorer on the night and threw in a few assists along the way. He’ll need to have more productive games to be considered anything more than a fringe roster player in fantasy leagues. However, he’s proven recently capable of turning out some strong performances.
Dillon Brooks

Dillon Brooks finished Friday’s loss to the Rockets with 23 points (10-of-24 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), four rebounds and four assists.

Brooks was Phoenix’s go-to scorer on Friday with Devin Booker (groin) sidelined, and he finished as the team’s only player to tally at least 20 points. He didn’t get there in the most efficient way, but Brook’s high volume allowed him to go beyond his season’s scoring average, even without making a three-pointer for the first time as a Phoenix Suns player. He tied a season-high in assists and was mediocre on the glass without collecting any stocks. Brooks has certainly turned out better fantasy performances, but Friday wasn’t a dud by any means. Still, he’ll look to be more productive on Monday against the Timberwolves.
