Week 16 of the 2023 NFL Season features a special holiday weekend of action-packed NFL excitement. Things kicked off with a Saturday doubleheader, which saw the Steelers defeat the Bengals with surprising ease, dealing a devastating blow to the Bengals’ playoff hopes. Then the Bills secured a much-needed and narrow win over the Chargers to improve to 9-6 and jump back into the heart of the AFC Wild Card mix.
In Christmas Eve Sunday’s biggest game, the Dolphins pulled off the big 22-20 win over the Cowboys, notching a victory against a winning team and clinching a playoff berth. Elsewhere the Detroit Lions clinched the NFC North for the first time in 30 years with their win over the Vikings, and Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers demolished the Jaguars to draw closer to the division title. The action continues Christmas Day with three games, including a matchup of 11-3 teams when the Baltimore Ravens take on the San Francisco 49ers.
