Arizona State guard Jahii Carson will join the Rockets in Orlando for summer league.
He was tied for first among all players at the NBA Draft Combine with a max-vertical of 43.5 inches, but it wasn’t enough to get him drafted. Carson fueled the Sun Devil offense with his 18.6 points per game while also handing out 4.6 assists, but he will basically have to outperform guys like Arizona guard Nick Johnson or second-year guard Isaiah Canaan to have a shot to make the team. Missouri forward Jabari Brown will also join the Rockets and have a similar fate.
  • NOP Forward #25

Trey Murphy (shoulder) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Warriors.
Murphy hasn’t played since the Pelicans’ last game before the All-Star break and remains out with a right shoulder contusion. Jeremiah Fears has seen increased usage with Murphy out, but with Dejounte Murray (Achilles) expected back Tuesday, the backcourt hierarchy could change.
    Herro's back-to-back games a 'really good sign'
Eric Samulski explains how Tyler Herro immediately playing two games back-to-back after his rib injury is a great sign for his health and ability to work his way back into the starting lineup.
  • OKC Center-Forward #7
Chet Holmgren (back) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Raptors.
Holmgren is listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Raptors with back spasms. The Thunder would be severely shorthanded if Holmgren is ruled out with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdominal), Ajay Mitchell (abdominal) and Jalen Williams (hamstring) also out. Isaiah Hartenstein would likely see the majority of the center minutes if Holmgren is out.
  • IND Guard-Forward #2
Andrew Nembhard (back) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.
Nembhard is on the injury report as questionable for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers with lower back injury management. The 26-year-old shooting guard had 22 points and 11 assists in Sunday’s loss to the Mavericks. With T.J. McConnell (hamstring) also questionable, Ben Sheppard could move into the starting lineup.
  • IND Forward #43
Pascal Siakam (wrist) is doubtful for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.
Siakam is unlikely to play as he’s listed as doubtful for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers with a left wrist sprain. Jarace Walker should replace Siakam in the starting lineup and is worth rostering in deeper formats.
  • DAL Forward-Center #21
Daniel Gafford (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Nets.
Gafford is on the injured report once again for right ankle injury management reasons, but the 27-year-old center hasn’t missed a game since January 24. Marvin Bagley III would replace Gafford in the starting lineup if he’s ultimately ruled out.
  • ATL Forward #0
Jonathan Kuminga (knee) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Wizards.
While Kuminga isn’t guaranteed to return on Tuesday against the Wizards given his questionable listing, he should return to the court sometime soon. The Hawks said the 23-year-old power forward would be re-evaluated this week. Kuminga will likely require a minutes ramp up after missing so much time.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (knee, shin) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Pacers.
Embiid has missed the last five games with various injuries. While he could return Tuesday against the Pacers, the 31-year-old’s status is still up in the air given his questionable listing. Andre Drummond started and had six points and nine rebounds in 22 minutes in Embiid’s absence on Sunday against the Timberwolves. Drummond would likely start again if Embiid remains out Tuesday.
  • CHI Guard #22
Anfernee Simons (wrist) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Hornets.
Simons missed Sunday’s loss to the Knicks after injuring his wrist on Saturday against the Pistons. The Bulls are now calling the 26-year-old shooting guard’s injury a left wrist contusion, rather than a sprain. Rob Dillingham saw some more minutes with Simons out Sunday and should continue to have a role for the rest of the season.
  • TOR Center #19
Jakob Poeltl (back) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Thunder.
Poeltl is set to miss Tuesday’s matchup against the Thunder for lower back strain injury management reasons. The 30-year-old center had six points and eight rebounds in 26 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Bucks. Collin Murray-Boyles should start and see more minutes with Poeltl sidelined.
  • TOR Forward-Guard #4
Scottie Barnes (personal) is off the injury report ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Thunder.
Barnes has been away from the team since Friday, missing Sunday’s win over the Bucks. The 24-year-old small forward is set to return Tuesday against the Thunder. That means Ja’Kobe Walter, who had nine points and six rebounds in 30 minutes on Sunday, will head back to the bench.
