According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors are not actively shopping Jordan Poole however he could be part of a trade if the return package is appealing.
Poole’s 4-year, $123M extension kicks in next season where he is slated to make $27.4M in 2023-24. Last season he played in all 82 games averaging 20.4 points and 4.5 assists per game. The Warriors also have key decisions to make regarding some of their older core players such as Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. With the new CBA in place, Golden State could be looking at a hefty tax bill without a sure-fire championship contending roster.
