According to Tony Jones of The Athletic, the Jazz have waived Kenneth Lofton Jr. and Darius Bazley.
Lofton and Bazley played with the Jazz last season, with the former appearing in four games and the latter six. Neither departure will impact fantasy basketball, as Lofton and Bazley weren’t in the rotation most nights.

Precious Achiuwa tallied 14 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one blocked shot in Wednesday’s loss to the Hornets.
Highlights: Bane powers Magic over Cavaliers
Desmond Bane notches his 12th 30-point performance this season for the Magic as Orlando beats Cleveland.
  • SAC Guard #5
Nique Clifford finished Wednesday’s loss to the Hornets with 18 points (7-of-16 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers.
  • SAC Guard-Forward #10
DeMar DeRozan accumulated 39 points (17-of-22 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, two steals and one blocked shot in Wednesday’s loss to the Hornets.
  • CHA Guard-Forward #7
Kon Knueppel finished Wednesday’s win over the Kings with 24 points (7-of-13 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers.
  • CHA Forward #24
Brandon Miller accounted for 20 points (7-of-15 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, two steals and two three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Kings.
Miller has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four appearances, and Wednesday’s stat line had everything but a blocked shot. Since the All-Star break, the Hornets wing has provided second-round value in eight-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP by a few rounds. Not only has Miller’s improved production benefited fantasy managers, but it’s one reason why the Hornets are in contention for a playoff spot in the East.
  • CHA Forward #0
Miles Bridges produced 26 points (11-of-15 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), two rebounds, five assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Kings.
Bridges entered Wednesday’s game in a shooting slump, averaging 11.8 points per game on 30.8 percent shooting from the field over his last five games. To say he needed a night like Wednesday would be an understatement. The 26 points were the most Bridges has scored in a game since February 7, when he hit that number in a win over the Hawks. He’ll look to finish Week 20 on a high note when the Hornets visit the Spurs on Saturday.
  • CHA Guard #1
LaMelo Ball tallied 30 points (10-of-22 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, five assists, one steal and six three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Kings.
Ball was one of four Hornets starters to score at least 20 points in Tuesday’s victory, with the point guard producing his first 30-point game since a February 22 win over the Wizards. Since the All-Star break, he has been providing fourth-round per-game value in eight-cat formats. The Hornets play once more in Week 20, a road game against the Spurs on Saturday.
  • HOU Center #28
Alperen Şengün recorded 10 points (5-of-8 FGs, 0-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, three assists and three blocks in Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets.
There were only two positives for Şengün in Tuesday’s blowout defeat. He kept the turnovers in check, recording two, and the three blocks were the most in a game for him since tallying three in a late February win over the Kings. While the Rockets’ center’s fantasy value since the All-Star break has been solid, Şengün is ranked outside the top-150 in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks.
  • HOU Forward #7
Kevin Durant accounted for 11 points (5-of-8 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), four rebounds and five assists in Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets.
Durant wasn’t the only Rockets player to have a subpar night, but this one had to hurt for those who have the future Hall of Fame forward on their roster. The 11 points tied his season low, and this was the first game in which KD did not reach double figures in shot attempts. Durant and the Rockets will look to bounce back on Friday when they host the Pelicans.
  • HOU Guard-Forward #1
Amen Thompson tallied 16 points (8-of-14 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), five rebounds, four assists and one steal in Wednesday’s loss to the Nuggets.
Wednesday was a night to forget for the Rockets, who were outscored by a 40-22 margin in the third quarter and would go on to lose by 36. Thompson produced a decent stat line, but the defensive output was minimal. And for a player who doesn’t offer much value in the points category, that can be an issue for fantasy managers. The Rockets play once more in Week 20, Friday night against the Pelicans.
