Michael Porter Jr. struggled on Wednesday and finished with just eight points (2-of-10 FGs), five rebounds, one steal and two three-pointers in Game 2 against the Thunder.
MPJ was slightly better in the second half, as all eight of his points came in the third quarter. However, the game was already out of hand at that point after a terrible first half for both Porter Jr. and the Nuggets. MPJ shot 1-of-8 in Game 1, and they’ll need him to be much better moving forward. The series will now shift back to Denver, and MPJ will look to get back on track during the two home games before the series heads back to Oklahoma City.

Josh Giddey (ankle) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Giddey was initially questionable for Saturday’s loss to the Bulls, going on to play 29 minutes as part of the starting lineup. He’s probable for Monday, so fantasy managers should operate under the assumption that Giddey will be cleared to play.
HLs: Wembanyama scores 32 in Spurs loss
Despite the loss, Victor Wembanyama scored 32 points in his first game back to the starting lineup.
  • CHI Forward-Center #12
Zach Collins (toe) is out for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Collins is dealing with soreness in his left big toe and will not play against the Timberwolves. That leaves Jalen Smith to handle the available minutes behind starter Nikola Vučević, but he’s only worthy of consideration in deep leagues.
  • HOU Center #28
Alperen Şengün (calf) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Pacers.
Şengün did not play in Saturday’s win over the Cavaliers, which moved Steven Adams into the starting lineup and increased Clint Capela’s minutes off the bench. While Adams is worth a look for those needing rebounds, Capela is not.
  • PHX Forward #0
Ryan Dunn (knee) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Wizards.
After suffering a right knee injury during Friday’s win over the Pelicans, Dunn did not play in Saturday’s rematch. His absence resulted in more playing time for Jordan Goodwin, and Isaiah Livers entered the rotation off the bench. That would likely remain the case if Dunn can’t play on Monday.
  • MEM Center #31
Jock Landale (calf) is out for Sunday’s game against the Wizards.
Not long after he was downgraded to doubtful, Landale has been ruled out for Sunday’s game. His continued absence means that Christian Koloko will play rotation minutes off the bench, but he is not worth streaming.
  • PHX Guard #8
Grayson Allen (knee) is out for Monday’s game against the Wizards.
Monday’s game will be the sixth that Allen has missed due to right knee injury management. Royce O’Neale has filled the resulting void in the starting lineup, but Collin Gillespie is the player who fantasy managers should target.
  • CHA Forward-Center #22
Mason Plumlee (groin) is out for Monday’s game against the Bucks.
Monday’s game will be the third that Plumlee has missed with a strained right groin. With Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) also out, the Hornets will lean heavily on Moussa Diabaté as the starting center.
  • CHA Guard-Forward #7
Kon Knueppel (ankle) is out for Monday’s game against the Bucks.
Knueppel sprained his right ankle during Friday’s game against the Magic. According to Hornets head coach Charles Lee, the rookie wanted to participate in Sunday’s practice but was held out and will also sit on Monday. If Sion James (illness) is upgraded from questionable to available, he would be the most likely replacement in the starting lineup. If he can’t play, Collin Sexton would likely be next in line.
  • CHA Center #11
Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) is out for Monday’s game against the Bucks.
Monday’s game will be the fourth that Kalkbrenner has missed since suffering a sprained left elbow. With Mason Plumlee also out, Moussa Diabaté will shoulder a heavy workload as the starting center. And he would be worth streaming in some standard leagues.
  • CHA Guard #4
Sion James (illness) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Bucks
When the Hornets’ rotation is at full strength, James’ potential absence would not significantly affect fantasy basketball. However, with Kon Knueppel (ankle) out, there’s a chance that James will start if he can play. If not, Collin Sexton may be the next man up, raising his fantasy ceiling.
