ESPN’s Shams Charania and Anthony Slater report that Stephen Curry (quad) will miss at least one week.
Curry suffered a right quad contusion during the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s loss to the Rockets. He did his best to play through the injury but was clearly struggling, and the Warriors removed him from the contest in the final minute. With the reported timeline, Curry will miss at least two games before being re-evaluated, starting with Saturday’s game against the Pelicans. Brandin Podziemski filled in the last time Curry missed a game, and that may be the course of action in this situation as well. Rostered in 36 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Podziemski is worth streaming in 12-team formats while the Warriors await the return of their superstar guard.
