Brandin Podziemski accumulated 17 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Thunder.
With Stephen Curry (quad) out and Jimmy Butler (knee) not returning for the second half of Tuesday’s game, the Warriors relied on an even more balanced offensive approach than usual. Podziemski was one of six players to score in double figures, and one of four to hit double digits in shot attempts. He’s been Curry’s replacement in the starting lineup. And with Warriors head coach Steve Kerr saying after Tuesday’s defeat that Steph won’t travel on the upcoming road trip, now is a good time to roll the dice on Podziemski in 12-team formats.
