Ja Morant (calf) is out for Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Initially doubtful for Sunday’s game, Morant is officially inactive. Vince Williams Jr. will continue to replace him in the starting lineup, with Cam Spencer playing additional minutes off the bench. While Williams is a solid option for managers needing assists, his low percentages have opened the door for Spencer to emerge as a solid deep-league option.

Desmond Bane amassed 18 points (7-of-17 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Knicks.
HLs: Curry's eruption not enough in return vs. MIN
Watch Stephen Curry drop 39 points in his return from injury for the Golden State Warriors, which was not enough in a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves Friday night.
  • ORL Guard #4
Jalen Suggs finished Saturday’s loss to the Knicks with 26 points (10-of-16 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, seven assists and two three-pointers.
  • ORL Forward #5
Paolo Banchero accounted for 25 points (10-of-22 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in Saturday’s loss to the Knicks.
  • NYK Forward-Guard #8
OG Anunoby tallied 24 points (8-of-13 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, three steals, one block and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Magic.
  • NYK Center-Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns accounted for 29 points (9-of-11 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one block and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Magic.
  • NYK Guard #11
Jalen Brunson finished Saturday’s win over the Magic with 40 points (16-of-27 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), four rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two three-pointers.
  • PHX Forward #18
Isaiah Livers (hip) is out for Sunday’s game against the Lakers.
Livers remains sidelined for another game, having last seen action on November 26. His continued absence does not affect fantasy basketball.
  • GSW Center-Forward #20
Al Horford (sciatica) is out for Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Horford has now missed four straight and eight of Golden State’s last nine games. The clear priority is to ensure that the veteran center is healthy later in the season, so Horford’s minutes will likely be limited once he’s cleared to return. Quinten Post will continue to play consistent rotation minutes, but he offers a limited fantasy ceiling when Draymond Green is available.
  • GSW Forward #23
Draymond Green (foot) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Green will be available on Sunday after missing three games with a right midfoot sprain. Second-year center Quinten Post started all three games, and he may be headed to the bench on Sunday. While Post would remain in the rotation, he isn’t worth holding onto in most leagues when Green is playing.
  • PHX Guard-Forward #3
Dillon Brooks (Achilles) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Lakers.
This isn’t the first time that Brooks has appeared on the Suns’ injury report due to a sore left Achilles tendon. He did not miss any time for either of the other two instances, so the hope is that he’ll be able to play against the Lakers. With Devin Booker also questionable, the Suns could have every perimeter option of note outside of Jalen Green for Sunday’s game. If Brooks can’t play, the Suns would need to rely more on Ryan Dunn, especially defensively.
