Naz Reid recorded 17 points (6-of-16 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
While Reid didn’t have his best night shooting the basketball, he recorded another complete stat line in what has been an excellent run of production. Over the past two weeks, the Timberwolves’ forward/center has been a top-30 player in nine-cat formats. And with his role remaining consistent, Reid’s chances of sustaining this production level are good. With Anthony Edwards (foot) out, Naz is one of the players whose usage has increased slightly in recent games, much to the delight of fantasy managers.

Deni Avdija accounted for 24 points (6-of-18 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), seven rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Kings.
HLs: Curry's 28 lifts Warriors to victory
Steph Curry dropped his first double-double in the Warriors win over the Suns.
  • ORL Guard #3
Desmond Bane had 32 points (13-of-21 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in the Magic’s 128-127 overtime victory over the Jazz on Saturday.
Trailing by one with four seconds left in overtime, the Magic inbounded the ball to Wendell Carter Jr. who quickly got the ball to Bane for a game-winner from the midrange. The 27-year-old shooting guard carried the Magic to the victory with a game-high 32 points. Orlando has four games in Week 10, starting with a matchup against the Warriors on Monday.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
Luka Dončić (leg) will not return to Saturday’s game against the Clippers.
Dončić suffered a left leg contusion during the second quarter of Saturday’s game. While he finished out the half, the decision was made during the intermission that the Lakers’ star was done for the night. Dalton Knecht started the third quarter, and his viability as a streamer moving forward depends on the availability of both Dončić and Austin Reaves.
  • CHA Guard #1
LaMelo Ball had eight points (3-of-14 FGs), one rebound, six assists, two steals and two three-pointers against the Pistons on Saturday.
Ball struggled and was vastly outplayed by Cade Cunningham in the 112-86 loss to the Pistons. The 24-year-old point guard had just eight points on 14 attempts and had four turnovers. Ball was -27 in 23 minutes. The Hornets have three games in Week 10, starting with a matchup with the Cavaliers on Monday.
  • LAC Center #40
Ivica Zubac (ankle) will not return to Saturday’s game against the Lakers.
Zubac rolled his left ankle during the first quarter of Saturday’s game, with team trainers taking him back to the locker room immediately after. The 7-footer has since been ruled out for the rest of the night. Brook Lopez, who had fallen out of the rotation, will figure prominently in the Clippers’ lineup. And he would be worth picking up if Zubac misses additional time.
  • PHX Guard #12
Collin Gillespie accounted for 16 points (5-of-14 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, three steals and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Warriors.
Gillespie didn’t have a good night shooting the basketball, but he doesn’t need to explode offensively to offer solid value. The rebounds, assists and steals were certainly valuable to category league managers. His seventh-round value in eight-cat formats over the last two weeks aligns with his season-long production. Gillespie’s spot in the starting lineup appears to be safe until Jalen Green (hamstring) returns, and that may not happen for another few weeks.
  • PHX Guard-Forward #3
Dillon Brooks recorded 22 points (8-of-11 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists and three three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Warriors.
After a hot start to the season, Booker’s fantasy value has slipped outside the top-100 in eight- and nine-cat formats. However, it isn’t as if his production has fallen off the proverbial cliff, either. Saturday was a good night for the rugged wing, as he shot efficiently and provided solid value in rebounds and three-pointers. That said, Brooks not recording any defensive stats was a surprise. The Suns begin their three-game Week 10 on Tuesday against the Lakers, so “The Villain” will get to see his good friend LeBron James.
  • PHX Guard #1
Devin Booker accumulated 38 points (13-of-27 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), one rebound, five assists, two steals, two blocks and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Warriors.
After scoring 27 and 25 points in his two prior appearances, Booker dropped his first 30-point game in over a month on Saturday. The 38 matched his season-high, and the Suns guard finished with good percentages and a complete stat line. Since returning from the groin strain that sidelined him for three games, Booker has provided fourth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. His season-long value still doesn’t align with his Yahoo! ADP (11), but he’s getting closer in eight-cat. Phoenix plays three games in Week 10, starting with the Lakers on Tuesday.
  • GSW Guard #3
Will Richard accounted for 20 points (6-of-7 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds and four three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Suns.
On a night when Draymond Green only played eight minutes due to his ejection, Richard stepped up and gave the Warriors valuable contributions off the bench. The rookie’s 20 points were the most in a game for him since November 5, when he dropped a season-high 30. Add in the rebounds, three-pointers and percentages, and this was an excellent showing from Richard. That said, he isn’t someone who should be in fantasy managers’ plans unless the Warriors’ rotation is decimated by injuries.
  • GSW Forward #10
Jimmy Butler III finished Saturday’s win over the Suns with 25 points (10-of-21 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), one rebound, two assists, one block and two three-pointers.
Scoring-wise, Butler has kicked things up a notch, totaling 56 points in his last two games. Unfortunately for category league managers, his production in other categories has slipped. Saturday’s overall stat line was relatively meager, with Butler’s rebounding tally (one) being his lowest in a game this season, and this was his fifth game with two assists or fewer. Over the last two weeks, Butler has provided fifth-round value in eight-cat formats.
