Tre Jones (hamstring) is probable for Friday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Good news for Jones as he’s been upgraded to probable ahead of the Bulls matchup with the Cavaliers on Friday. The 25-year-old point guard had 11 points and 11 assists in the win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday. Even with Ayo Dosunmu (thumb) expected back, Jones should see 20-25 minutes off the bench and he’s been productive lately.

Pacers signed James Wiseman to a 10-day contract.
Indiana release Gabe McGlothan from the 10-day deal he had signed on Dec. 16 to make space for Wiseman. Tony Bradley fractured his thumb on Thursday, which creates the need for Wiseman to return. He opened the year in Indiana before being waived just a few days into the regular season. He’ll provide depth behind Jay Huff and Isaiah Jackson for the foreseeable future.
HLs: Edwards carries T-Wolves to win in his return
In his first time back on the court after a three-game absence with foot soreness, Anthony Edwards carried the Timberwolves to a thrilling home win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
  • LAL Forward #28
Rui Hachimura (groin) has been ruled out against the Clippers on Saturday.
Hachimura has been downgraded after initially being listed as questionable. His absence will likely open up a starting spot for Jake LaRavia, who has been productive in seven starts this season. Dalton Knecht should also play a larger role off the bench.
  • WAS Forward #8
Malaki Branham (thumb) is available to play against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
Branham will return from a three-game absence, but his role this season has been minimal. He may see a few minutes off the bench, but he isn’t a player that’s worth rostering.
  • WAS Forward #1
Cam Whitmore (shoulder) is questionable to play against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
Whitmore has been out of the rotation over Washington’s last four games. He likely won’t see the floor whether he’s available or not.
  • WAS Forward #5
Jamir Watkins (illness) is questionable to play against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
Watkins is a late addition to the injury report, and if he’s unavailable, there will be a few extra minutes for Justin Champagnie and Will Riley. Regardless that won’t make much of an impact in fantasy basketball.
  • WAS Forward #22
Khris Middleton (knee) is available to play against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
Middleton will be back after missing the last four games. Bilal Coulibaly (ankle) has been ruled out, so Middleton will likely just fill his spot in the starting lineup, which also means Bub Carrington should remain in the starting unit.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (illness) is doubtful to play against the Mavericks on Saturday.
Embiid is expected to miss a second straight game due to this illness. Andre Drummond should start again after recording a double-double with three triples on Friday. Drummond has been an elite streaming option whenever Embiid is out this year, and that should continue in this game.
  • WAS Guard #0
Bilal Coulibaly (ankle) has been ruled out against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
Coulibaly wasn’t on the initial injury report but is now dealing with an ankle sprain. He returned from a four-game absence with an oblique injury in Washington’s last game and started. Khris Middleton is available for this game and will likely fill Coulibaly’s starting spot.
  • PHI Forward #8
Paul George (knee) has been ruled out against the Mavericks on Saturday.
George was held to a season-low seven points in Friday’s win over the Knicks, and he’ll sit out the second leg of the back-to-back. Quentin Grimes started during George’s most recent absence and could get the nod in this one, though he’ll at least see a bump in minutes.
  • CHA Guard #21
Pat Connaughton (calf) is available to play against the Pistons on Saturday.
After missing almost a month, Connaughton will be available to suit up off the bench for Charlotte. The veteran wing has played a minimal role this season. Tidjane Salaun and Josh Green may lose a couple minutes with Connaughton back, but that isn’t guaranteed and won’t impact fantasy basketball regardless.
