Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 32 points (11-of-23 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), one rebound, 10 assists, two steals, two blocks and three three-pointers in a 119-117 win over the Nuggets on Monday.
Mitchell has been a big reason that Cleveland has now won nine of their last 10 games, and he has been especially hot over their last three games. During those, he has averaged 32.0 points, 7.7 assists, 2.7 steals, 1.3 blocks and 2.7 triples per game. He hit the game-winning free throws in this one, which capped off a magnificent night. This was only his fourth double-double of the season, so managers shouldn’t expect more of those often, though he should remain incredibly productive.
