Pelicans coach James Borrego said he “expects in the next week [Dejounte Murray] will be back on the court playing NBA games.”
There haven’t been many updates on Dejounte throughout the year, though he was able to participate in parts of practice prior to the All-Star break. He won’t return to take on the Bucks on Friday, but he could play in one of the Pelicans four games next week. He has a fantasy-friendly game, but he will likely be incredibly limited in a lost season for New Orleans. Jeremiah Fears will have to give up some of his point guard minutes with Murray back.

Ryan Rollins (foot) is off the injury report for Friday’s game against the Pelicans.
After missing Milwaukee’s final two games before the All-Star break with plantar fasciitis in his right foot, Rollins is off the injury report. Rollins’ return may push Ousmane Dieng to the bench, but he’s played well enough to continue to receive solid rotation minutes, even with a potential demotion.
Should NBA include a 1-on-1 tournament in ASG?
Numbers on the Board debates if a 1-on-1 tournament should be added to NBA All-Star Weekend and names some players who have showed interest in participating. They also discuss how that event can elevate All-Star Weekend.
  • MIL Center-Forward #3
Myles Turner (calf) is out for Friday’s game against the Pelicans.
Turner is still dealing with the same calf injury that cost him a game before the All-Star break. The 29-year-old center is set to miss Friday’s game against the Pelicans. Ousmane Dieng should fill in for Turner and is worth streaming given his recent play.
  • DAL Forward #32
Cooper Flagg (foot) is out for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Flagg is still dealing with a left midfoot sprain that cost his a game before the All-Star break. He’s set to miss Friday’s game against the Timberwolves with the same injury. Naji Marshall has been excellent when given additional minutes this season and is worth streaming with Flagg sidelined.
  • WAS Forward-Center #23
Anthony Davis (hand) is progressing well and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Davis, who suffered ligament damage in his left hand in early January, is progressing in his recovery. However, the Wizards’ forward/center still has not been cleared for basketball activities. For fantasy managers who can afford to take their chances on Davis being active at some point, he’s worth holding onto in an IL slot. That said, managers in leagues where the playoffs will begin before Davis’ re-evaluation will have to seek alternatives.
  • WAS Guard #3
Trae Young (knee) will be re-evaluated in one week.
Young, who hasn’t made his debut yet for the Wizards since coming to Washington in a trade for CJ McCollum, is set to ramp up on-court activities. The 27-year-old point guard isn’t ready to return quite yet and will be re-evaluated in a week.
  • MIN Guard-Forward #1
Terrence Shannon Jr. (foot) is off the injury report for Friday’s game against the Mavericks.
The Timberwolves have a clean injury report for their first game out of the All-Star break, including Shannon. Due to a strained left foot, he’s been out since Christmas. While Shannon’s return may result in fewer minutes for Jaylen Clark, who already wasn’t playing much, this is unlikely to affect fantasy basketball in the short term.
  • LAL Guard #15
Austin Reaves (calf) is no longer under a minutes restriction.
In the five games he played after missing time with a strained right calf for the second time this season, Reaves did not exceed 29 minutes. Coming out of the All-Star break, that restriction has been removed, so Reaves will be in the starting lineup for Friday’s game against the Clippers. This will likely bump Marcus Smart to the bench.
  • LAL Center #5
Deandre Ayton (knee) is expected to be available for Friday’s game against the Clippers.
Ayton missed the Lakers’ final two games before the All-Star break with a sore right knee, opening up a spot in the starting lineup for Jaxson Hayes. Ayton’s expected return would bump Hayes to the bench, eliminating his minimal streaming value.
  • POR Guard-Forward #4
Matisse Thybulle (thumb) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
Due to thumb and knee injuries, Thybulle has not been available for a game since October 29. However, the veteran wing could be available for Friday’s game against the Nuggets after fully participating in Thursday’s practice. While fantasy managers should not expect much from Thybulle, his defensive ability could make him worth a look in deep category leagues once he’s playing without any restrictions.
  • POR Forward #24
Kris Murray (back) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
Due to a lumbar sprain, Murray has not appeared in a game since January 5. However, with the third-year wing practicing on Thursday, there’s a chance that he’ll be available for Friday’s game against the Nuggets. Given the time missed and the possibility that Matisse Thybulle will also be available, Murray is only worth rostering in dynasty leagues.
