Leonard Miller added 15 points (6-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and one three-pointer in Thursday’s loss to the Lakers.
Miller logged 31 minutes on Thursday, which was enough to score in double figures for a second straight game and finish one rebound shy of back-to-back double-doubles. The third-year forward has seen his opportunities increase in his short tenure in Chicago following a midseason trade from Minnesota. So far, he’s showing potential to be a double-double threat if the minutes are high enough.
  • CHI Forward-Center #25

Jalen Smith (calf) is out for Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers.
After logging 17 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors, Smith will not play on Thursday. Nick Richards was the replacement in the starting lineup the last time Smith was sidelined, and that should be the case on Thursday.
McGrady: Mitchell, Booker could get 90 points
NBA on NBC analyst Tracy McGrady joins Dan Patrick to discuss historic scoring performances, relaunching Ones Basketball League and more.
  • CHI Guard #2
Collin Sexton (leg) is available to play against the Cavaliers on Thursday.
Sexton was initially listed as probable, and he has now officially been cleared to suit up. He played 18 minutes on Wednesday and should see a similar workload against Cleveland.
  • MEM Forward #67
Taj Gibson (foot) is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Celtics.
Gibson’s likely absence does not affect fantasy basketball, as he has played fewer than 12 minutes in each of his three appearances this season.
  • POR Guard #27
Vít Krejčí (calf) is questionable to play against the Timberwolves on Friday.
Krejčí has missed Portland’s last two games and is in danger of missing a third straight game. However, his role has dwindled recently, so his status won’t alter the Trail Blazers’ rotation.
  • ATL Forward #0
Jonathan Kuminga (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Rockets.
Friday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Hawks, who host the Warriors on Saturday. Given the history between Kuminga and the Warriors, he should be expected to be available for that matchup. Mouhamed Gueye should step into the frontcourt rotation, but there’s no need to stream him.
  • MEM Guard #21
Jahmai Mashack (ankle) has been ruled out against the Celtics on Friday.
Mashack will miss a second straight game, which will open up a few extra minutes for DeJon Jarreau and Tyler Burton. However, the Grizzlies’ rotation has been too inconsistent as of late for either player to be worth streaming.
  • MEM Small Forward #45
GG Jackson (knee) is listed as doubtful against the Celtics on Friday.
Jackson had been dealing with a foot injury, but he is expected to miss Friday’s game with left knee soreness. Taylor Hendricks, who has played well lately, should return to the starting unit with Jackson likely unavailable.
  • DEN Guard #8
Peyton Watson (hamstring) is out for Friday’s game against the Raptors.
Watson, who did some 3-on-3 scrimmaging at the beginning of the week, has not reached the point where he can play in games. With Aaron Gordon back in the lineup after not playing on Wednesday, Spencer Jones and Julian Strawther will be the key wing contributors off the bench.
  • DEN Forward #32
Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Raptors.
Gordon missed Wednesday’s game, which was the second leg of a back-to-back. However, he’ll be back in his usual starting spot against Toronto. Spencer Jones started against Memphis but will head back to the bench.
  • MIN Center-Forward #11
Naz Reid (ankle) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Reid did not play in Wednesday’s win over the Jazz after spraining his right ankle the night prior. Kyle Anderson and Terrence Shannon Jr. saw their minutes increase in his absence, with the former recording six assists and the latter three steals. Neither is a must-stream player if Reid remains out.
