John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 reports that Cameron Johnson (ankle) is expected to play in Friday’s matchup with the Suns.

Johnson has logged only 11 minutes this season after getting injured in the opener, but he’s on track to return against his former team. He started that contest, but it’s unknown if he’ll rejoin the first unit against Phoenix. Bryce Hopkins started two games, and Trevon Brazile started one in Johnson’s absence.
Ja Morant

POR Guard #1

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Ja Morant has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain and will miss at least four weeks.

Morant sustained the injury on Thursday against his former team, and it will cost him the next month, at minimum. Scoot Henderson and Jrue Holiday should see the most run in Morant’s absence, but it’s not yet known which of the pair will start alongside Damian Lillard.
Ochai Agbaji

OKC Guard #30

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Ochai Agbaji has been signed to the Thunder’s final roster spot.

Agbaji will fill out Oklahoma City’s depth, and with Jalen Williams (leg), Alex Caruso (ankle) and Cason Wallace (shoulder) all out, Agbaji could see some rotation minutes immediately. He’s only worth an add in deep leagues.
Patrick Williams

CHI Forward #44

Bulls insider K.C. Johnson reports that Patrick Williams is expected to make his season debut on Friday against the Hornets.

Williams said at shootaround that he’ll be available, so we’ll upgrade him to probable until his status becomes official. Williams’ availability won’t be impactful on Chicago’s rotation.
Noah Clowney

BKN Forward-Center #21

Nets reporter Erik Slater reports that Noah Clowney (illness) is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Pistons.

Clowney’s late addition to the injury report doesn’t bode well for his status ahead of Friday’s tilt with Detroit. If he’s ultimately ruled out, more minutes should be available for Josh Minott and Chaney Johnson.
Donovan Clingan

POR Center #23

Donovan Clingan finished with 11 points (5-of-9 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, five blocks and one three-pointer against the Grizzlies on Thursday.

Portland was without Robert Williams (knee) for this game, which allowed Clingan to set a new season high for minutes. He set a new season high for blocks, but ultimately, his production didn’t change much. Clingan’s lack of minutes has been disappointing, but if he can continue to have between 26-30 minutes per game, he should be able to play to his fourth-round ADP, especially if he is blocking shots at this rate.
Deni Avdija

POR Forward #8

Deni Avdija led the Trail Blazers with 24 points (8-of-16 FGs, 8-of-12 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists and one block in a 124-103 loss to the Grizzlies on Thursday.

Avdija’s production is slightly down from last season, but he continues to be the primary scoring option for Portland. He only scored 18 points in the season opener, though he only played 24 minutes because of the lopsided score. Since then, he has averaged 24.3 points and 7.3 assists per game while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor. If Avdija can continue to shoot this efficiently, he’ll be even better than he was last season.
Damian Lillard

POR Guard #0

Damian Lillard struggled on Thursday and finished with just nine points (3-of-13 FGs), two rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer against the Grizzlies.

Lillard has been excellent for a 36-year-old coming off a torn Achilles, but he struggled in this one. This was just Portland’s first loss of the season, and Lillard should get back to producing how he was previously. He isn’t the player he once was, but Lillard will continue to be a productive player, mostly as a reliable source of three-pointers and assists.
Isaiah Stewart

MEM Forward-Center #28

Isaiah Stewart provided a boost off the bench with 18 points (7-of-10 FGs), three rebounds, one block and two three-pointers against the Trail Blazers on Thursday.

Quinten Post (ankle) exited this game early, which allowed Stewart to be the primary backup center. He did most of his scoring after Post’s exit, with 15 of his 18 points coming in the second half. Stewart has been solid as a reserve for Memphis this year, though this was his season high for scoring. Unless he’s filling in for Zach Edey as a starter, Stewart shouldn’t be rostered outside of deep leagues. This level of scoring won’t come consistently.
Cameron Boozer

MEM Forward #27

Cameron Boozer recorded a triple-double on Thursday with 18 points (6-of-10 FGs), 11 rebounds, 12 assists and four three-pointers in a 124-103 win over the Trail Blazers.

It took just five games for Boozer to record his first triple-double, and Memphis now sits at 5-0. His field goal percentage has been horrendous so far, with this being his first time shooting at least 50 percent from the floor. However, he has been excellent from the free throw line and has poured in the rebounds and assists. The shooting percentage should regulate, which will vault his fantasy value. He’s just getting started, and it won’t be long before Boozer is considered one of the premier players in fantasy basketball.
