Having totaled 23 points on 10-of-25 shooting in his prior two games, Knueppel got back to his usual business on Wednesday. He led four Hornets in double figures with 20 points, shooting 50 percent from the field overall and 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. Knueppel and the Hornets play twice more in Week 19, starting with the Heat on Friday as they continue their climb up the Eastern Conference standings.

With the trade to Charlotte and his return from a calf injury, White’s role with his new team has lowered his fantasy ceiling. However, the Hornets guard had a good night in Boston, recording excellent percentages and dishing out a team-high six assists (tied with Moussa Diabaté). Just as concerning for managers who have White rostered as his role is Charlotte’s upcoming schedule, as they’ll have another back-to-back to navigate during Week 20.

After only needing to play 21 minutes in Tuesday’s rout of the Mavericks, Miller logged 27 minutes as the Hornets torched the Celtics by a 118-89 final score. All that was missing from his final stat line was a blocked shot, but the efficient scoring and three steals should compensate for that. Miller and the Hornets have won six straight and are 21-8 since New Year’s Day.

The Hornets have now won six straight games, with four players scoring between 17 and 20 points in Wednesday’s 118-89 blowout of the Celtics. Ball’s field-goal percentage may not have been elite, and the assist tally was a bit low. However, Wednesday’s game was his third this season without a turnover, with two being recorded after the All-Star break. Ball as an efficient playmaker makes the Hornets a dangerous team and increases his value in nine-cat formats.

Williams isn’t playing back-to-backs after missing over a calendar year with a knee injury, so he’ll sit this one out. Ryan Kalkbrenner and Pat Connaughton should take on extra minutes off the bench, though neither will play enough to contribute much fantasy production.

The rookie has been solid all season, but he was able to match his career high for rebounds in this game and score in double figures for the first time since December. James has been an impressive rookie, especially for a second-round pick. However, that hasn’t led to much fantasy production. This was a strong outing, but he isn’t worth rostering in standard leagues.
LaMelo Ball

LaMelo Ball stuffed the stat sheet on Tuesday and finished with 15 points (5-of-19 FGs), five rebounds, nine assists, five steals, one block and four three-pointers against the Mavericks.

Though it was a rough shooting night for him, Ball was still able pour in the counting stats as the Hornets won their fifth straight game by at least 15 points. He also set a new season high for steals. Charlotte has been able to manage LaMelo’s minutes recently due to the amount of lopsided wins, which should allow him to be at full strength in Boston on Wednesday despite it being the second night of a back-to-back.
Brandon Miller

Brandon Miller led the Hornets with 17 points (6-of-10 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers in a 117-90 win over the Mavericks on Tuesday.

Miller got off to a hot start, scoring 13 points in the first quarter alone. Unfortunately, foul trouble limited him to just 21 minutes, which was enough for him to lead the team in scoring, but not enough for him to truly expand on his start. This put an end to his four-game streak with at least 20 points, but it was the fifth straight win for the Hornets by at least 15 points. They’ll put that streak to the test in Boston on Wednesday.
