Julius Randle had 17 points (7-of-18 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, four assists and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s win over the Raptors.

It’s no secret that Randle is dealing with a sore left thumb on his shooting hand. Now he’s shot below 40 percent from the field in three of his last four games. Maybe the two are unrelated, but his status is certainly worth monitoring going forward. The Timberwolves’ next game is Friday against the Pelicans.

Hyland was instrumental in Wednesday’s win over the Raptors. The 25-year-old point guard was instant offense with 20 points on 12 field goal attempts and four three-pointers off the bench. Only Anthony Edwards had more points for the Timberwolves in the 128-126 victory. Hyland’s scoring isn’t consistent enough for him to have much fantasy value when Edwards is available.

Anthony Edwards had 30 points (11-of-23 FGs, 7-of-10 FTs), eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, one block and one three-pointer in the Timberwolves’ 128-126 victory over the Raptors on Wednesday.

With the Timberwolves leading by two points with just over one minute remaining at the end of regulation, Edwards drove the lane on Raptors forward Brandon Ingram before hitting a turnaround jumper that gave his team a two-possession lead. The 24-year-old shooting guard was excellent in the fourth quarter as the Timberwolves came back from down 10 points to win. Edwards has provided third-round per game value over the last two weeks. He’ll have another chance for a big game Friday against the Pelicans.

Randle is still dealing with a sore left thumb, which happens to be on his shooting hand. The 31-year-old power forward appears ready to continue playing through the injury. Randle’s had 27 and 19 points in his last two game since incurring the injury, so it isn’t slowing him down very much, which is great news for fantasy managers.

Anthony Edwards (elbow) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.

Edwards is set to play after initially being listed as questionable with a sore left elbow. He’ll occupy his usual place in the starting lineup, and there may be more on-ball playmaking opportunities for Edwards since the Timberwolves traded Mike Conley on Tuesday.

Randle continues to deal with soreness in his left thumb, which is difficult to deal with for a left-handed shooter. The 31-year-old power forward was able to play through the injury Monday against the Grizzlies. If Randle is out Wednesday, Jaylen Clark could move into the starting lineup and Naz Reid would have a higher ceiling.

While Edwards is back on the injury report, the good news is that it’s because of a sore left elbow rather than the lingering right foot issue. With the Timberwolves trading Mike Conley on Tuesday, Bones Hyland would be the likely replacement in the lineup if Ant-Man can’t play.

DiVincenzo’s production has come inconsistently this season, but he’s still capable of getting hot and pouring in the points. He shot over 70 percent for the first time this season while still contributing plenty of triples and steals. This was the 15th straight game that he hit at least two three-pointers, and he has swiped at least one steal in all but two of those games. January was a productive month for him, and he has started February off well.
Jaden McDaniels

Jaden McDaniels lit up the Grizzlies with 29 points (11-of-14 FGs), four rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers on Monday.

McDaniels has been on a heater recently, which continued in this game. This was the third straight game that he scored at least 20 points, and he has averaged 23.3 points and 4.3 triples while shooting 69.2 percent from the floor during this stretch. He’s enjoyed arguably the best season of his career thus far, but he has taken his scoring up a notch recently. He’ll look to stay hot in Toronto on Wednesday.

It has been nearly two months since Edwards last scored less than 20 points in a game, and this was the second game in a row that he scored at least 30 points, with both games being played in Memphis. However, they ended up on the wrong side of the scoreboard in this one, which ended a four-game winning streak. He is having the best season of his career by averaging a career high for points while also having the best field goal and three-point percentage of his career. He’ll look to stay hot in Toronto on Wednesday.
