Billy Hunter was ousted as executive director of the National Basketball Players Association in 2013, ultimately replaced by Michele Roberts. Now, he’s filing a wrongful-termination lawsuit against the union, and according to ESPN.com’s Ethan Sherwood Strauss, his lawyers want to depose union president Chris Paul and vice president LeBron James.

LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers teammate James Jones and Los Angeles Clippers star Chris Paul have been served with notices of deposition in former NBA players’ union executive director Billy Hunter’s wrongful termination lawsuit against the National Basketball Players Association, sources said Thursday.

The lawsuit itself isn’t new — back in February, Hunter served former union president Derek Fisher with a deposition. Naming James and Paul is new, and Hunter is suing the union for $10.5 million in damages. A hearing between the two sides is set for November 3.
