Thanks to his close relationship with LeBron James, Rich Paul has established himself as one of the top up-and-coming agents in the NBA. He’s gotten big deals done for Eric Bledsoe and Tristan Thompson, and landed No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons. Now, with more of his clients playing elsewhere and spending time on the west coast in the offseason, Paul has purchased a $3 million home in Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Times:

Rich Paul, a longtime friend and agent to the three-time NBA most valuable player, has bought a newly built home in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles for $3 million. The purchase comes roughly 10 months after James bought a $21-million home in Brentwood and his business manager, Maverick Carter, bought a $3.47-million home in the Hollywood Hills.

Establishing a presence in Los Angeles is a smart move for Paul as he tries to grow his business. LA is the hotbed for NBA players when it comes to offseason living and workouts, and it will be beneficial for Paul if he’s out there more often.
