Williams has not appeared in a game since December 13, as he has been out with left heel bursitis. His absence does not significantly affect fantasy basketball, but it does make Branden Carlson the “break in case of emergency” post player if Isaiah Hartenstein or Chet Holmgren is limited.

Ajay Mitchell (concussion protocol) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the 76ers.

Mitchell has missed Oklahoma City’s last two games, freeing up additional minutes for fellow reserves Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe. Those three may cancel each other out on Sunday, but Mitchell has offered the highest fantasy ceiling to this point in the season.

Chet Holmgren finished Thursday’s loss to the Spurs with 10 points (5-of-9 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), 12 rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot.

Holmgren’s two games against the Spurs this week were a struggle. In the defeats, he totaled 17 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one three-pointer. While the Thunder certainly have the depth to compensate for the occasional off night, the matchup with San Antonio has proven to be one in which the champs need all hands on deck (the Spurs are 3-0 against OKC this season). Holmgren will look to bounce back on Sunday against the 76ers, but that’s the first game of a back-to-back. Hopefully, he can play both contests.

Isaiah Hartenstein accumulated 13 points (5-of-7 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal in Thursday’s loss to the Spurs.

Hartenstein finished Thursday’s defeat with his eighth double-double of the season and first since November 15. The lingering concern is his availability, with Hartenstein still working his way back from a strained calf. Before Thursday, he had not appeared in consecutive games since November 23-26. For that reason, fantasy managers should anticipate Hartenstein sitting out one of Oklahoma City’s next two games, Sunday against Philadelphia or Monday against Atlanta.
Jalen Williams

OKC Guard-Forward #8

Jalen Williams amassed 12 points (5-of-13 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, six assists, two steals and one three-pointer in Thursday’s loss to the Spurs.

Williams struggled with his shot on Thursday, as he continues to work his way back from right wrist surgery. There are still some range-of-motion issues for the Thunder forward, but the percentages haven’t suffered too much. Thursday was the exception, as Williams shot the ball poorly from the field and the foul line. There should not be any concern on the part of fantasy managers, as J-Dub is providing top-50 value in nine-cat formats.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

OKC Guard #2

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished Thursday’s loss to the Spurs with 22 points (7-of-19 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one three-pointer.

After dropping 33 points in Tuesday’s blowout loss to the Spurs, Gilgeous-Alexander was kept in check by San Antonio in Thursday’s rematch. He remains one of the best players to have rostered in fantasy basketball, but the San Antonio matchup has proven to be a challenging one for SGA and the Thunder. He’ll look to bounce back Sunday against the 76ers.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander erupted for 33 points (14-of-22 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), three rebounds and eight assists during Tuesday’s loss to the Spurs.

Gilgeous-Alexander got into a groove early, hitting 7-of-10 from the floor in the first half, and eclipsed the lofty 30-point plateau for the fourth consecutive contest and sixth time in eight games since the start of December. The injury-depleted Thunder hold a league-best 26-4 mark this season but have dropped three of their last five games They’ll attempt to get back on track with a rematch against the Spurs on Christmas Day in Oklahoma City.
Chet Holmgren

OKC Center-Forward #7

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein will start Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.

Holmgren and Hartenstein are back after sitting out Monday’s win over the Grizzlies. Their returns mean that Cason Wallace and Branden Carlson head to the bench. While Wallace will remain in the rotation, there’s a high likelihood that Carlson will not.

Aaron Wiggins (adductor) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.

Wiggins is available after missing Oklahoma City’s last two games with an adductor injury. Ajay Mitchell is out, so he can absorb some of the minutes that would have gone to the second-year guard. Alex Caruso and Isaiah Joe are also available off the bench.
