Chet Holmgren shot 3-of-7 from the field and 3-of-4 from the foul line in Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics, scoring 10 points with five rebounds and one three-pointer.
The Thunder did not get much production from players not named Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on Wednesday, including Holmgren. The ten points were the fewest he’s scored in a game in a month, having tallied seven points in a February 24 win over the Raptors. Nights like Wednesday have not been the norm for Holmgren, who has provided fourth-round value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. He’ll look to bounce back when the Thunder host the Bulls on Friday.
Luguentz Dort
OKC
Guard
#5
Luguentz Dort accounted for 14 points (5-of-9 FGs), five rebounds, one block and four three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics.
In his prior five appearances, Dort shot a combined 6-of-33 from the field overall and 5-of-26 from beyond the arc. To say he needed a night like Wednesday would be a serious understatement. Dort was 4-of-6 from deep against the Celtics. While the defensive production was limited, category-league managers will take the three-point production, which has not always been there for Dort.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
OKC
Guard
#2
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander amassed 33 points (10-of-12 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), two rebounds, eight assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics.
While Gilgeous-Alexander managed to extend his 20-point streak by halftime, he did not attempt a free throw during the first half. The reigning MVP was a frequent visitor to the line after the intermission, which factored into him surpassing 30 points for the third time in five games. Add the assists and steals, and Wednesday was an excellent night for managers rostering Gilgeous-Alexander. The Thunder play two more games in Week 22, starting with the Bulls on Friday.
Isaiah Hartenstein
OKC
Center-Forward
#55
Isaiah Hartenstein had 10 points (5-of-7 FGs), 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in Monday’s win over the 76ers.
Hartenstein was one point away from a triple-double with 20 rebounds in Saturday’s win over the Wizards. He didn’t have quite as good of a game on Monday against the 76ers, but he put up another double-double. The Thunder have three more games in Week 22, but only one is attached to a back-to-back, which should be beneficial for his availability.
Chet Holmgren
OKC
Center-Forward
#7
Chet Holmgren had 17 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists, five blocks and three three-pointers in Monday’s win over the 76ers.
Holmgren was just one rebound away from securing his third double-double in his last four games. The 23-year-old center was excellent with 17 points and four assists on offense and even had five blocks on the defensive end. Holmgren was 3-of-4 from behind the three-point line after only attempting five three-points over his last three games. He’s provided top-15 per game value over the last two weeks.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
OKC
Guard
#2
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 22 points (9-of-13 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in the Thunder’s 123-103 victory over the 76ers on Monday.
Gilgeous-Alexander was coming off a 40-point performance in Saturday’s win over the Wizards. The 27-year-old point guard wasn’t able to sustain that level of scoring and had 22 points on 13 attempts in 29 minutes. Gilgeous-Alexander has provided fifth overall per game value over the last two weeks. The Thunder have three more games in Week 22, the next coming on Wednesday against the Celtics.
Jalen Williams
OKC
Guard-Forward
#8
Updating an earlier blurb, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein will start Monday’s game against the 76ers.
The initial lineup announced by the Thunder had Williams coming off the bench in his first game since February 11. He will start, with Cason Wallace heading to the bench. The other change is Dort, who’s back after a one-game absence. He’ll step into the void left by Ajay Mitchell, who’s serving a one-game suspension after being ejected from Saturday’s win over the Wizards for his role in a second-quarter altercation.
Luguentz Dort
OKC
Guard
#5
Luguentz Dort, Cason Wallace, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein will start Monday vs. 76ers.
Dort will return to the rotation and the starting lineup on Monday, joining the usual four starters in his first game back following a two-game absence. The Thunder has been the league’s hottest team, and will have a chance to earn a 12th consecutive win on Monday. They enter with the NBA’s best record.
Luguentz Dort
OKC
Guard
#5
Luguentz Dort (knee) is off the injury report for Monday’s game against the 76ers.
Dort is back after sitting out Saturday’s win over the Wizards with a left knee contusion. His return coincides with Ajay Mitchell’s one-game suspension, so Dort can slide back into the starting five with ease.
Branden Carlson
OKC
Center
#15
Branden Carlson (back) is off the injury report for Monday’s game against the 76ers.
Due to a back injury, Carlson has been out since February 25. His return will not affect fantasy basketball, as Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein and Jaylin Williams are also available for Monday’s game.
