Blake Hinson produced 21 points (6-of-8 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), one assist, one block and four three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Wizards.
Due to the many absences from the Jazz lineup, Hinson was inserted into the rotation on Wednesday. While the overall line was lean, the undrafted rookie provided solid value in points, three-pointers and percentages. As a two-way contract player, Hinson is not guaranteed to be active every game, so there’s no need to consider adding him in the aftermath of Wednesday’s performance.
  • UTA Guard #55
John Konchar accumulated eight points (4-of-9 FGs), 14 rebounds, five assists, one steal and three blocks in Wednesday’s loss to the Wizards.
Experienced fantasy managers are likely well aware of what Konchar can provide when allowed to play extended minutes. He may not do much as a scorer, but the veteran wing can provide solid value in other areas. Against the Wizards, Konchar put up good numbers in rebounds, assists and blocked shots, and he logged 38 minutes. Brice Sensabaugh (rest) and Kyle Filipowski (illness) were out, freeing up additional minutes for Konchar, and he made the most of his opportunity.
  • UTA Forward #5
Cody Williams recorded 24 points (11-of-20 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, one assist, two steals and one blocked shot in Wednesday’s loss to the Wizards.
Monday’s loss to the Raptors was the first game that Williams has missed since January 28, and he looked refreshed against the Wizards. With the Jazz only going eight players deep, the second-year forward had the proverbial green light, and he attempted a team-high 20 shots. Williams was responsible for four turnovers, but the 55 percent shooting from the field and overall line compensates for that.
  • UTA Forward #19
Ace Bailey finished Wednesday’s loss to the Wizards with 15 points (7-of-19 FGs), five rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer.
Two nights removed from going off for a season-high 37 points, Bailey was held in check by the Wizards. The good news for fantasy managers was that his production was not limited to points, with Bailey recording solid numbers in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. Given Utah’s priorities for the rest of the season, Ace is going to play plenty as long as he’s healthy. If Bailey is sitting on the waiver wire, add him.
  • UTA Forward #5
Cody Williams (shoulder) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Wizards and is in the starting lineup.
Williams is back after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Raptors. With Kyle Filipowski unavailable, the Jazz will open Wednesday’s game without a true center. Joining Williams in the lineup are Bez Mbeng, EJ Harkless, Ace Bailey and John Konchar.
  • UTA Center #22
Kyle Filipowski (illness) has been ruled out against the Wizards on Wednesday.
As expected, Filipowski will be unavailable to take on Washington. Oscar Tshiebwe and Kevin Love should be the center options for Utah, though on a day with 12 games, managers are better off looking elsewhere for value.
  • UTA Center #22
Kyle Filipowski (illness) is doubtful to play against the Wizards on Wednesday.
Filipowski is expected to be sidelined against Washington, which will open up the starting center spot. Oscar Tshiebwe and Kevin Love should fill out the center minutes with Filipowski likely unavailable, with Tshiebwe being the better streaming option.
  • UTA Guard #8
Isaiah Collier (hamstring) has been ruled out against the Wizards on Wednesday.
Collier will miss a fourth straight game with this hamstring injury. Bez Mbeng has been starting in his place, but Kennedy Chandler has been more productive off the bench. Chandler has averaged 16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.5 triples in his two appearances since joining Utah.
  • UTA Forward #28
Brice Sensabaugh (rest) has been ruled out against the Wizards on Wednesday.
Sensabaugh scored 24 points off the bench on Monday, but he will be back on the sidelines against Washington, a game which happens to be pivotal in the tank race. John Konchar should take on extra minutes with Sensabaugh unavailable.
  • UTA Forward #5
Cody Williams (shoulder) is questionable to play against the Wizards on Wednesday.
Williams missed Monday’s game, which allowed John Konchar to get the starting nod in his place. Konchar only played 23 minutes, but that was with Brice Sensabaugh playing 31 minutes off the bench. Sensabaugh is out for Wednesday’s game, so Konchar should take on a larger role if Williams remains out.
