His name most likely won’t be mentioned in any of this week’s transactions, in large part because he’s been a free agent for months. But Odell Beckham Jr. has made other news, given his addition to a pending lawsuit against Diddy alleging sexual assault.

Taijuan Moorman of USA Today has the story regarding the new claims made by Ashley Parham against multiple defendants.

Beckham has denied the allegations in a post on Twitter.

“I have been informed of the allegations about me in a suit in [California],” Beckham said. “I really can’t believe that my name is mentioned in that matter. There is absolutely no truth to those allegations. I do not know and have never met the person that filed the suit. I was not anywhere near Orinda, CA at that time. In fact, I don’t think I have ever even been to Orinda, CA. I have never done anything like that, and I would never do anything like that to anyone. I’m confident that these ridiculous claims against me will be dismissed.”

The case will proceed, until it’s dismissed. And Beckham’s lawyers will have all devices available in their effort to achieve Beckham’s full and complete exoneration.

Beckham, a first-round pick of the Giants in 2014, has also played for the Browns, Rams, Ravens, and Dolphins. The Dolphins released him during the 2024 season, after the trade deadline.

Defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris has found a new home.

NFL Media reports that Robertson-Harris has agreed to a two-year deal with the Giants. It is worth $10 million.

The Seahawks released Robertson-Harris last week and he visited with the Cardinals after becoming a free agent, but he will be in New Jersey for the coming season.

Robertson-Harris was traded from the Jaguars to the Seahawks during the 2024 season. He had 20 tackles and two sacks over the two stops.

The Giants also agreed to a deal with cornerback Paulson Adebo on Monday as they’ve focused on defense in the early stages of free agency.

The quarterback dominoes are falling. And one pretty big name currently looms over two teams.

Aaron Rodgers. Steelers or Giants?

Two weeks ago, Rodgers reached out to the Giants. It was an indication that he didn’t have many options. With Justin Fields taking a two-year deal with the Jets, Rodgers now has an open spot in Pittsburgh.

And while Rodgers wouldn’t have to leave New York if he picks the Giants, he has a much better chance of finishing his career with a postseason appearance in Pittsburgh.

Money could be an issue, too. If the Giants offer more, how much more would it take to get it done?

And it seems as if the loser in the chase for Rodgers could end up pivoting to Russell Wilson.

Time will tell. The Jets will release him on Wednesday. Before then, he could have a deal in place with a new team. And, for now, it’s looking like the Steelers or the Giants.

The Giants are adding a cornerback.

Per NFL Media, New York has agreed to sign Paulson Adebo.

Terms of the deal were not immediately reported.

Adebo, 25, just completed his rookie contract with the Saints. A third-round pick in 2021, Adebo appeared in 52 games with 51 starts over the last four seasons.

He was available for just seven games in 2024 due to a broken femur. He finished the year with 52 tackles, 10 passes defensed, and three interceptions.

Adebo was No. 82 on PFT’s list of the top 100 free agents of this offseason.

Adebo has 10 career interceptions and 43 passes defensed with two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

The Steelers and Aaron Rodgers are talking. Nothing speaks more loudly than cash.

What will Rodgers want from Pittsburgh?

A sense emerged two weeks ago, when Rodgers became a potential alternative to Matthew Stafford, that Rodgers would take a lot less than whatever Stafford wanted. If so, that might not apply to other teams.

One guess, from a source on the fringes of the discussions: two years, $90 million, with $40 million fully-guaranteed at signing.

We’ll see how it plays out. For now, the game of musical chairs is playing out. Where and when it stops, no one knows. Chances are that, in the end, there will be more asses than seats.
