The Seahawks will have punter Michael Dickson against the Cardinals today.

Dickson was questionable after having back spasms last week, and the Seahawks added Ty Zentner to their practice squad late in the week, but Dickson is active. Zentner is inactive after being elevated from the practice squad.

Cornerback Tre Brown, who was added to the injury report Saturday, is inactive with a hamstring injury.

The Seahawks’ other inactives are running back Kenneth Walker III (calf), safety AJ Finley, linebacker Trevis Gipson, linebacker Patrick O’Connell and wide receiver Cody White.

Zach Charbonnet will start at running back for the third time this season. He rushed for 129 yards and three scores on 32 carries while filling in for Walker in Seattle’s wins over the Patriots and Dolphins earlier this season.

The Cardinals’ inactives are outside linebacker Victor Dimukeje, offensive lineman Christian Jones, tight end Travis Vokolek, wide receiver Xavier Weaver and defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga.

Running back Kenneth Walker won’t be part of the Seahawks’ effort to move closer to an NFC West title on Sunday.

Walker was listed as questionable to play with ankle and calf injuries on the team’s final injury report of the week, but his condition did not improve as hoped. The Seahawks announced that Walker has been ruled out well ahead of kickoff against the Cardinals in Arizona.

Zach Charbonnet will now be the lead back for Seattle. Kenny McIntosh is on the 53-man roster as the third-string back and the Seahawks also elevated George Holani from the practice squad.

The Seahawks go into Sunday’s game with a one-game lead on the Cardinals in the division and a win would give them a season sweep of Arizona.

It looks like Seahawks cornerback Tre Brown will miss Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.

Brown was added to the injury report on Saturday with a hamstring injury and is considered doubtful to play. Brown has appeared in 10 games this season and he has 21 tackles and a pass defensed.

The Seahawks also elevated running back George Holani and punter Ty Zentner from the practice squad.

Holani could be pressed into service because Ken Walker III is questionable to play after missing two practices with ankle and calf injuries. Holani played six special teams snaps in his only appearance of the regular season.

Zentner gives the Seahawks insurance because Michael Dickson is also listed as questionable, although head coach Mike Macdonald expressed optimism that he will be able to go despite his back injury.

The Cardinals added a defensive starter to their injury report on Saturday.

Safety Jalen Thompson is now considered questionable to play against the Seahawks. Thompson is dealing with an illness.

Thompson has started all 10 games he’s played this season and returned to the lineup last Sunday after missing two games with an ankle injury. He has 60 tackles, two passes defensed, and a fumble recovery in those appearances.

Defensive lineman Naquan Jones (elbow) and Dante Stills (back) are also listed as questionable to play for Arizona on Sunday. Cornerback Elijah Jones (ankle) was listed as out, so he will remain on injured reserve for at least one more week.

The Giants have claimed cornerback/returner Dee Williams off waivers, Dan Duggan of TheAthletic.com reports.

The Seahawks waived Williams on Thursday.

Williams has returned every punt the Seahawks have returned this season, but the team cut him after he fumbled a kickoff return Sunday. He lost two muffed punts earlier this season.

Seattle replaced him by claiming returner Jaelon Darden off waivers from the Browns.

Williams made the Seahawks’ initial 53-player roster as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee. He has averaged 7.4 yards on 15 punt returns and 28.2 yards on nine kickoff returns this season. He has 21 fair catches on punts.
