He forged a serviceable .718 OPS in the majors in 2026, and it’s worth noting that he’s not long removed from being considered one of the best hitting prospects in the sport. Dominguez still has a bright future, but there’s some risk that comes with the reward from a fantasy addition at this point.

He’s now hitting .367/.383/.722 in 82 plate appearances, and he’s matched his career high with six homers. In the first month of his 10th big-league season, he’s raised his career OPS from .647 to .674.

Machado got most of the first homer, hitting the ball 105-mph to left center. The second homer was a 96-mph fly to right that might have been a routine out somewhere other than Mexico City. Still, Machado was due for some luck, having entered the day at .198/.324/.291 with two homers in 105 plate appearances.

The Mets not only lost both games of Sunday’s doubleheader, but they were swept in the series. Against the Rockies. Yes, those Rockies. Senga now has an ERA of 9.00, and gave up a two-run homer to Hunter Goodman and an RBI single to Troy Johnston to “help” that number go up. Again. He also walked three, struck out just one, and threw 30-of-50 pitches for strikes before being pulled. This isn’t good. The Mets aren’t good. He’s scheduled to face the Angels on Friday.

After going six games without an extra-base hit — a severe drought for someone like Ohtani — the perennial MVP candidate bashed his sixth homer of the season as well as a double. He also drew a walk while improving his slash to .262/.391/.485 with 12 RBI and three steals. Most hitters would sign up for that slash. Most players aren’t Ohtani.

With the score tied 3-3, Schmitt unleashed on an Andrew Nardi offering with a pair of runners on to give the Giants a 6-3 lead and ultimately the victory. He’s been one of the bright spots of the San Francisco offense, as that homer along with a walk has him slashing .296/.348/.543 over the first 28 games of the season. He has shown flashes of being an offensive weapon in the past, but it’s understandable if fantasy managers remain skeptical.

Trevor Megill, Aaron Ashby and Abner Uribe all struck out two in their innings of work, so it was an 18-strikeout, two-hitter for the Pirates. Harrison, who missed a turn 10 days ago and then got just nine outs Tuesday against the Pirates, induced 23 whiffs and allowed just two hard-hit balls in the best outing of his young career. He’s definitely worth rostering in mixed leagues and worth having active for his start against the Nationals next weekend.

It’s not a huge surprise, but it’s still noteworthy. The 27-year-old didn’t fool the Houston hitters at all Sunday while allowing six runs over four-plus innings, and the Yankees will have Carlos Rodón available to them shortly. There’s still some long-term upside in Gil — he just had a 6 1/3 scoreless outing the game before — but he’s safe to drop in redraft formats.
