Grant Sherfield shot 9-of-17 from the field in Friday’s 97-93 loss to the Jazz, finishing with 23 points, four rebounds, two assists, three steals, and five 3-pointers in 27 minutes.
With Jordan Goodwin appearing to be done for the summer due to a sore knee, Sherfield made another start at the point for the Suns. While the undrafted rookie out of Oklahoma did a good job scoring-wise, his two assists were counted by a game-high five turnovers. Barry Brown, whose minutes have also been boosted due to Goodwin’s absence, added 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes.

Jakob Poeltl returned to the lineup on Wednesday and contributed nine points (4-of-7 FGs) and six rebounds against the Pistons.
Poeltl suited up for the first time since December and was immediately back in the starting unit. He played 20 minutes and wasn’t productive, but it was a positive step to see him back out on the floor. It has been a rough season to this point for Poeltl, but he’ll get some time to rest more during the All-Star break. He’ll look to have a more productive final two months of the regular season.
Highlights: Randle notches 41 points on Portland
Julius Randle leads the way for the Minnesota Timberwolves, who get a win heading into the all-star break.
  • NOP Center #22
Derik Queen finished Wednesday’s loss to the Heat with 12 points (4-of-8 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, one block and one three-pointer.
  • NOP Guard #0
Jeremiah Fears accumulated 13 points (6-of-19 FGs), 11 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s loss to the Heat.
  • NOP Forward #1
Zion Williamson accounted for 25 points (12-of-19 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds and three assists in Wednesday’s loss to the Heat.
  • MIA Center #7
Kel’el Ware tallied 16 points (7-of-15 FGs), 12 rebounds, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Pelicans.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 28 points (9-of-14 FGs), seven rebounds, nine assists, three steals, one block and six three-pointers in a 113-95 win over the Raptors on Wednesday.
Cunningham remained hot to help Detroit win a third straight game to enter the All-Star break. He was able to match his season high for three-pointers while also shooting efficiently from the floor. Cunningham’s excellent season has Detroit atop the Eastern conference entering the break, and he’ll continue to be elite in fantasy basketball for the rest of the season.
  • MIA Guard #11
Jaime Jaquez Jr. notched 23 points (10-of-22 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks in Wednesday’s win over the Pelicans.
  • MIA Center-Forward #13
Bam Adebayo finished Wednesday’s win over the Pelicans with 27 points (6-of-19 FGs, 13-of-17 FTs), 14 rebounds, four assists, four blocks and two three-pointers.
  • POR Guard #00
Scoot Henderson accounted for 18 points (5-of-8 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Timberwolves.
Despite the outcome of Wednesday’s game and the five turnovers, this was an encouraging performance for Henderson. The third-year guard shot the ball well from the field and the foul line, including a 3-of-5 night from beyond the arc. Scoot’s minutes are still being limited, as he played 19 on Wednesday, but that will likely change after the All-Star break. The Trail Blazers visit Utah on Thursday, but fantasy managers should assume that Henderson will sit for injury management reasons.
  • DET Forward #7
Paul Reed started on Wednesday and finished with 22 points (10-of-17 FGs), five rebounds, three assists, two steals, four blocks and one three-pointer against the Raptors.
Reed got the starting nod with both Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart suspended for this game. He made an immediate impact on this game, contributing 16 points and three stocks in the first quarter without missing a shot in just the first quarter. He cooled off as the game progressed, but he was still incredibly productive. Stewart has six games left on his suspension, while Duren will only be sidelined for one more, which will be on Feb. 19 against the Knicks. Reed should get one more start and then play an increased role off the bench until Stewart returns.
