Keldon Johnson logged 32 minutes in Monday’s 124-99 loss to the Clippers, accounting for 22 points (9-of-16 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers.
With Devin Vassell (adductor) once again sidelined, Johnson extended his streak of 20-point games to four straight. Just as encouraging has been the production across the board, and not just points, rebounds, and 3-pointers. Over the last week, Johnson’s providing top 50 per-game value in 9-cat formats. For the season, he’s been a pleasant surprise, ranking just outside the top 75 after beginning play with a Yahoo ADP of 122. San Antonio plays three more games in Week 5, and Vassell missing more time would boost Johnson’s fantasy value, even if that would make it more difficult for the Spurs to win games.
