Rupert, who took on a limited role within the Blazers’ rotation late last season, shot the ball well in Saturday’s defeat. While he was also responsible for five turnovers, the second-year wing played with an aggressiveness rarely present during his rookie campaign. Rupert isn’t a lock to be in a position to offer consistent fantasy value in 2024-25, but he’s worth keeping an eye on for the remainder of the summer.

Markkanen has missed seven straight and eight of Utah’s last nine games due to illness and to get his conditioning up to par. His return will likely push Svi Mykhailiuk out of the starting lineup and possibly out of the rotation entirely. Svi should not be rostered in most redraft leagues.

Christian Koloko turned in 12 points, four rebounds, an assist and three blocked shots across 17 minutes in Monday’s win over Indiana.

Koloko backed up Onyeka Okongwu (12/10/2 with a block in 31 minutes) at center, and he logged more minutes than Mouhamed Gueye (seven points and six rebounds in 13 minutes). Koloko is on a two-way deal, but he could see meaningful minutes until Kristaps Porziņǵis (Achilles) returns to the lineup. The former is worth a look in deep leagues only.

Jalen Johnson

ATL Forward #1

Jalen Johnson contributed 15 points (5-of-19 FG), seven rebounds, six assists, four steals, a block and a three-pointer across 35 minutes in Monday’s 132-116 win over the Pacers.

Johnson couldn’t get it going as a scorer, but he did everything else in the box score, and fantasy managers ended up with another strong performance. Johnson will look to get back on track from an efficiency standpoint when the Hawks face the Celtics on Wednesday.

Caris LeVert

Caris LeVert (illness) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Nuggets.

LeVert will miss a fourth straight game as he continues to battle an illness. Ron Holland II and Daniss Jenkins have picked up a few additional minutes in his absence, but neither is worth streaming when used in a reserve role.

CJ McCollum

CJ McCollum posted 23 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, a block and five three-pointers across 28 minutes in Monday’s win over the Pacers.

McCollum hasn’t had trouble offering strong scoring numbers off the bench, but Monday’s final stat line represents arguably his best all-around performance in a Hawks uniform. Fantasy managers who rolled with McCollum were treated to a team-high point total, meaningful counting stats, strong defensive contributions and a flurry of triples.

Pascal Siakam

IND Forward #43

Pascal Siakam finished Monday’s loss to the Hawks with 26 points across 35 minutes, adding nine rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots and two three-pointers.

Volume was key for Siakam here as he shot just 8-of-21 from the floor, including 2-of-9 from long range. He was an efficient 8-of-9 from the charity stripe and chipped in meaningful counting stats to bolster his performance for fantasy managers. There’s no reason to expect a dip in production for the high-usage, do-it-all forward any time soon.

Bennedict Mathurin

IND Guard-Forward #00

Bennedict Mathurin (thumb) finished with 16 points, two rebounds, an assist, a steal and a pair of triples across 25 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Hawks.

Mathurin played his first game since January 2, and he came off the bench with a limited workload. Despite the reduced playing time, Mathurin’s offensive impact was far from muted, as he hit 6-of-10 shots, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc. He should see his playing time trend up moving forward, and fantasy managers in need of points and triples can safely deploy him.

Malik Monk

Malik Monk (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.

Monk exited Sunday’s loss to the Pistons briefly because of the sore right ankle, but he did play during the second half. If he can’t play on Tuesday, that likely opens the door for Keon Ellis to play more after logging 21 minutes against the Pistons.

Zach LaVine

Zach LaVine (back) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.

LaVine did not play in Sunday’s loss to the Pistons, resulting in Nique Clifford moving into the starting lineup. The rookie played 33 minutes, finishing with 15 points, three rebounds, one assist, one block and two three-pointers. While not a must-stream player, Clifford will have value during the “silly season” based on where the Kings are in the Western Conference standings.

Merrill came into the day questionable after missing five straight games with a hand injury, but he’ll ultimately be ruled out due to personal reasons. His absence will mean more playing time for Jaylon Tyson and Dean Wade.
