Jaden Hardy played 34 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Grizzlies, accumulating 17 points (6-of-17 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two three-pointers.
Hardy’s stat line was unsurprising to those familiar with his game. While the absences meant more opportunities for the third-year guard, his inefficiency limits Hardy’s fantasy ceiling. The Mavericks will play Sacramento in the play-in tournament on Wednesday, and Hardy is unlikely to be an impactful rotation member.

Brandon Williams (calf) is out for Saturday’s game against the Kings.
Williams’ status has fluctuated over the last day, bouncing from doubtful to questionable, and now to out. His absence frees up additional minutes for D’Angelo Russell, but his opportunities will also depend on how well starting point guard Ryan Nembhard plays.
HLs: Lopez sinks career-high nine 3-pointers
Brook Lopez joined Steph Curry and LeBron James as just the third player to make nine 3-pointers in a game after turning 37 in a Clippers win that saw Lopez, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden combine for 93 points.
  • DAL Forward-Center #3
Anthony Davis (adductor) is out for Saturday’s game against the Kings.
Davis was listed as questionable with right adductor soreness originally. The 32-year-old power forward will miss Saturday’s game against the Kings, his 17th missed game of the season. Max Christie is a candidate to replace Davis in the starting lineup.
  • TOR Center #19
Jakob Poeltl (back) is out for Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
Poeltl is set to miss his third game in a row with a lower back injury. Sandro Mamukelashvili had 13 points and 11 rebounds in 33 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Wizards. He’s worth rostering in deep leagues while Poeltl is out.
  • TOR Forward-Guard #9
RJ Barrett (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Warriors.
Barrett has been out since November 23, but his return isn’t far away. The 25-year-old small forward had a full practice Friday and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Warriors. Even if he’s ultimately held out, his return should happen soon. If he’s available, he’ll likely be on a minutes limit.
  • Brandin Podziemski (abdominal) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Raptors.
Podziemski should be available given his probable tag on the injury report with an abdominal injury. The 22-year-old point guard comes off the bench, but has still played at least 28 minutes in four consecutive games.
  • MIN Guard-Forward #1
Terrence Shannon Jr. (foot) will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
An MRI revealed a left foot abductor hallucis strain for Shannon. He’ll miss at least the next two weeks, at which point he’ll be re-evaluated. Bones Hyland and Jaylen Clark will continue to see more minutes with Shannon sidelined.
  • MIA Center #7
Kel’el Ware (quad) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Pacers.
Don’t panic just yet, but Ware is now probable with a right quad contusion. The Heat have already ruled out Bame Adebayo (back) and losing Ware would leave them without a legitimate post presence, though he’s still likely to play.
  • UTA Forward-Center #42
Kevin Love (rest) is out for Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
Love had 14 points and three three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Pistons. The 37-year-old power forward has more than earned a night off. Kyle Filipowski and Taylor Hendricks could see more minutes in Love’s absence against the Spurs.
  • PHX Forward #0
Ryan Dunn (knee) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans.
Dunn is on the injury report with right knee soreness after colliding with an opponent in Friday’s game against the Pelicans. He had nine points in 21 minutes off the bench. Dunn’s availability doesn’t significantly impact the Suns’ rotation or fantasy basketball.
  • PHX Guard #8
Grayson Allen (knee) is out for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans.
Allen is set to miss his fifth consecutive game with right knee injury management. Royce O’Neale had just three points in 25 minutes Friday while Collin Gillespie had 16 points, nine assists and four three-pointers. Gillespie is the preferred streaming option while Allen is out.
