Bam Adebayo amassed 24 points (10-of-22 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer in 39 minutes in Sunday’s Game 1 loss to the Cavaliers.
Miami’s frontcourt was solid in Game 1, with Adebayo recording a complete stat line and rookie Kel’el Ware (14/6/2/1 with two three-pointers in 38 minutes) providing solid contributions in his playoff debut. However, it wasn’t enough to counter what Cleveland’s guards were able to do, which may prove to be the prevailing storyline of this series. Adebayo should be able to put up quality lines on a nightly basis, despite having to deal with Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley. However, the Heat are serious underdogs in this series due to their comparatively limited depth of productive players.

Jalen Brunson (ankle) is out for Monday’s game against the Heat.
Brunson injured his ankle on Wednesday against the Magic, leaving in the fourth quarter. The 29-year-old point guard sat out Friday’s game against the Heat with Miles McBride getting the start and playing 30 minutes. McBride and Landry Shamet are worth streaming with the Knicks down multiple starters.
Highlights: Timberwolves falter at home to Nuggets
Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards both notched 26 points apiece, but the quartet of 20-plus-point scorers for the Nuggets led by Nikola Jokic topple the Timberwolves in Minneapolis.

Victor Wembanyama (calf) is out for Sunday’s game against the Kings.
Wemby was ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Kings with a calf injury. With the 21-year-old power forward sidelined, Luke Kornet is set to start and is worth streaming. Kelly Olynyk and Bismack Biyombo will also see some minutes off the bench.
  • POR Guard #5
Jrue Holiday (calf) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.
Holiday popped up on the injury report as questionable with right calf soreness mere hours before Sunday’s game against the Mavericks. The Trail Blazers would be missing much of their star power if Holiday is out with Damian Lillard and Scoot Henderson also on the shelf.
  • PHI Forward #30
Adem Bona (ankle) will miss at least the next three games.
Bona is dealing with a right ankle sprain. The 222-year-old power forward will miss the next three games before being re-evaluated. It’s unclear when Bona will return to the court. With Joel Embiid dealing with a knee injury, Andre Drummond is the next man up for the 76ers.
  • PHI Forward-Guard #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. suffered an LCL (lateral collateral ligament) injury and will meet with specialists to determine the extent of the injury.
Oubre left Friday’s game against the Pistons with a knee injury. Now the 29-year-old small forward is set to see a specialist after being diagnosed with an LCL (lateral collateral ligament) injury. Oubre is without a timetable for return. Quentin Grimes would be in line for a bigger role and boost in fantasy value while Oubre is out.
  • MIA Guard #14
Tyler Herro (ankle) told reporters on Sunday that he could be back in a week or two.
Herro, who practiced with the team on Sunday, told reporters he hopes to be back in a week or two. The 25-year-old point guard traveled with the Heat on their most recent road trip. All indications are than Herro is trending in the right direction and barring a setback he should be back on the court sometime next month.
  • ORL Guard #4
Jalen Suggs (groin) is out for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.
Suggs is out for Sunday’s game against the Rockets with what the Magic are calling a sore right groin. Anthony Black is in line for the start and is worth streaming. It’s unclear how long Suggs might be out for, but Black could be worth holding onto as the Magic have four games next week.
  • LAL Forward #23
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports LeBron James (sciatica) will practice with the Lakers on Monday.
This jives with a previous report from ESPN’s Dave McMenamin that LeBron would rejoin the Lakers at practice next week. James participated in multiple practices with the organization’s G League affiliate earlier this week. Assuming he makes it through practice without issue, the Lakers’ next game is against the Jazz on Tuesday.
  • NYK Forward-Guard #8
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports OG Anunoby (hamstring) will miss at least the next two weeks.
Anunoby left Friday’s game against the Heat after only five minutes with a hamstring injury. The 28-year-old small forward is now set to miss the next two weeks, at which point he’ll be re-evaluated. Josh Hart figures to move into the starting lineup with Anunoby out and should see a bump in fantasy value. Landry Shamet is also a candidate for more minutes off the bench based on his recent play.
  • MIN Guard #5
Anthony Edwards finished with 26 points (8-of-23 FGs), eight rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks against the Nuggets on Saturday.
It was a rough shooting night for Edwards, but he was able to redeem his night with some late buckets, which allowed him to tie Julius Randle as the leading scorers for Minnesota. He also made an impact in a variety of other ways despite his shot night falling, which is why he was a first-round pick once again this season. Edwards’ shooting percentages are actually up this season after they took a hit last year due to an uptick in three-point volume. Subpar shooting nights like this won’t happen often; this was his worst field goal percentage in a game this year.
