Grizzlies selected Jahmai Mashack with the No. 59 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
The Rockets made the official selection, but the pick that had been in the Kevin Durant trade was held by the Suns, who traded Mashack’s draft rights to the Grizzlies. Try to keep up. While not much of a perimeter shooter, the former Tennessee wing is a tenacious defender who mastered the “little things” that can make a big difference during his college career. Mashack will face a challenging battle in Memphis for a place in the team’s rotation, even with Desmond Bane being traded to the Magic.

Cam Spencer, Jaylen Wells, Cedric Coward, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jock Landale will start Sunday’s game against the Lakers.
The Grizzlies have made two changes to their starting lineup, one due to injury. Ja Morant (calf) is out, opening up a spot for Spencer at the point guard position. The other change is Landale, who steps in for Christian Koloko.
HLs: Nets stun Nuggets in Porter Jr. revenge game
With his former team visiting Brooklyn, Michael Porter Jr. capitalized on the Nuggets' injury woes and led his Nets to an upset win over the team that traded him away in the offseason.
  • POR Center-Forward #35
Robert Williams III (knee) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Jazz.
Williams is back on the injury report due to left knee injury management. While his status does not affect starting center Donovan Clingan, it does affect fellow reserves Yang Hansen and Duop Reath. While one or both could land in the rotation if Williams sits, neither is worth rostering in redraft leagues.
  • POR Forward #9
Jerami Grant (Achilles) is out for Monday’s game against the Jazz.
Monday’s game will be the tenth that Grant has missed due to left Achilles tendonitis, an injury that the Trail Blazers said would not be a long-term issue. Kris Murray has been his replacement in the starting lineup, and that should not change on Monday.
  • UTA Center #30
Jusuf Nurkić (toe) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Nurkić has missed Utah’s last two games with a toe injury. With Kevin Love (rest) already ruled out, Kyle Filipowski should move into the starting lineup if Nurkić can’t return to action.
  • UTA Forward-Center #42
Kevin Love (rest) is out for Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Love is getting Monday night off, even though it’s not part of a back-to-back. Kyle Filipowski will figure more prominently in the Jazz rotation, especially if Jusuf Nurkić remains out with his toe injury.
  • UTA Forward #19
Ace Bailey (hip) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Due to a strained left hip flexor, Bailey has missed Utah’s last four games. Brice Sensabaugh has filled the resulting void in the starting lineup and should continue to do so if Bailey can’t play on Monday. Sensabaugh is only worth a look in extremely deep redraft leagues.
  • Yanic Konan Niederhäuser (illness) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Warriors.
Niederhäuser’s availability does not affect fantasy basketball, especially with Ivica Zubac returning from a sprained ankle on Saturday. The rookie should only be rostered in dynasty leagues.
  • MEM Forward-Center #7
Santi Aldama (ankle) is available for Sunday’s game against the Lakers.
Aldama is good to go after initially being listed as questionable. He’ll take on his usual reserve role, but the former first-round pick boasts a higher fantasy ceiling with Ja Morant (calf) unavailable.
  • MEM Guard #12
Ja Morant (calf) is out for Sunday’s game against the Lakers.
Due to a right calf contusion, Morant will miss Sunday’s rematch after logging 31 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Lakers. Cam Spencer will likely move into the starting lineup to run the point, with Javon Small playing backup minutes off the bench. Spencer is worth streaming in 12-team leagues; he should already be rostered in 14-team leagues.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell erupted for 34 points (11-of-15 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, three assists and two steals over 28 minutes on Sunday, leading the Heat to a 125-106 blowout win over the Pelicans.
Powell got off to a sizzling-hot start on the second night of a back-to-back, going 6-of-7 from the field, including 5-of-6 from three-point range, to enter halftime with 20 points. He kept the momentum going down the home stretch, finishing 9-of-12 from beyond the arc, notching his second 30-point performance in his last three games. The unheralded 32-year-old scoring machine has benefitted greatly from Miami’s new run-and-gun style offense in his Heat debut, delivering third-round fantasy value, averaging 24.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.2 blocks through 31 games. The Heat are in line for a four-game week coming up that includes a rematch against Minnesota before road tilts against the Bulls, Pacers and Thunder.
