Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 33 points (12-of-20 FGs, 6-of-10 FTs), five rebounds, eight assists, one block and three three-pointers in a 114-106 win over the Grizzlies on Monday.
Any slow start to the season is certainly behind Cunningham at this point. Over the last three games, he is averaging 28.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 12.0 assists, 2.0 steals, 1.3 blocks and 2.0 three-pointers while shooting 51.7 percent from the floor. He set a career-high for assists in his last game and set a season-high for points in this one. Cunningham is on a tear, which has led to Detroit’s three-game win streak. He’ll look to stay hot against the Wizards on Wednesday.
