Deni Avdija amassed 24 points (8-of-16 FGs, 5-of-10 FTs), seven rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and two blocks over 38 minutes during Sunday’s comeback win over the Celtics.
Avdija, who leads the league in free-throw attempts this season, went just 5-of-10 from the charity stripe in this one, but he was a big reason why Portland shook off a rocky start to put together an impressive win over one of the hottest teams in the league. He hit a clutch floater in the final minute to give Portland a four-point advantage and finished three rebounds shy of a triple-double. The 25-year-old has hit a bit of a rough patch recently but he’s still delivered top-60 fantasy value this season, averaging 25.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks through 32 games.
