Harris continues to be just solid in his role while the Pistons’ overall depth has capped his ceiling.

With Duren’s suspension over now, he’ll return to the bench, but could still have fantasy value with Stewart suspended another five games.

Cade Cunningham

DET Guard #2

Cade Cunningham had 42 points (17-of-34 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), eight rebounds, 13 assists, one steal, two blocks and five three-pointers in the Pistons’ 126-111 victory over the Knicks on Thursday.

With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart suspended, the Pistons entered Madison Square Garden as underdogs Thursday night. Shorthanded or otherwise, Cunningham proceeded to carry Detroit to a 15-point victory, its third of the season over the Knicks. The 24-year-old point guard was aggressive and never let up, dropping 42 points and 13 assists on New York in the process. He’s provided second-round per game value this season, according to Basketball Monster.

VJ Edgecombe

VJ Edgecombe had 20 points (7-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, one steal, one block and three three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Hawks.

Edgecombe had 20 points on 15 field goal attempts in Thursday’s loss to the Hawks. The 20-year-old shooting guard recorded no assists and had six turnovers, showing that it was a bit of a struggle on the offensive end. Maxey led the 76ers in scoring with Joel Embiid sidelined. It wasn’t the best game for the 25-year-old point guard as he had 28 points on 23 attempts from the field. Maxey was 4-of-11 from behind the three-point line. Maxey is fourth-overall in per game value on the season, according to Basketball Monster. The 76ers have a back-to-back this weekend against the Pelicans on Saturday and the Timberwolves on Sunday.

CJ McCollum

ATL Guard #3

CJ McCollum had 23 points (6-of-13 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), one rebound, five assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the 76ers.

McCollum continues to come off the bench, but ended up being the Hawks’ second leading scorer in the win over the 76ers on Thursday. The 34-year-old shooting guard had 23 points in 30 minutes off the bench. He’s provided 11th-round per game value on the season, according to Basketball Monster. The Hawks have two more games this week, starting with a matchup against the Heat on Friday.

Devin Booker

Devin Booker (hip) will miss the remainder of Thursday’s game against the Spurs.

Booker had gone back to the locker room during the second quarter of the Suns-Spurs matchup on Thursday before eventually being ruled out at the start of the third quarter with hip soreness. He was replaced in the lineup to begin the second half by Jordan Goodwin, who is a candidate to take over that starting role should Booker miss any time going forward.

Johnson continues to absolutely carry the Hawks and fantasy teams alike. Over his last six games, the 24-year-old small forward is averaging 27.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 9.7 assists and 2.2 steals. Johnson is once again filling up stat sheets with his varied skillset. He’s provided 14th-overall per game value this season, according to Basketball Monster. The Hawks face the Heat on Friday on the second night of a back-to-back.

Ryan Kalkbrenner

CHA Center #11

Ryan Kalkbrenner had 12 points (5-of-6 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, four assists and one block in Thursday’s loss to the Rockets.

Kalkbrenner continues to start and dominate the center minutes for the Hornets while Moussa Diabaté is suspended. The 24-year-old center had 12 points, four rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes in the loss to the Rockets. Kalkbrenner will still be usable in deeper formats for two more games with Diabaté suspended.
