Myles Turner tallied 21 points (8-of-16 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 14 rebounds, one assist, six blocks and two three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Wizards.
Unfortunately for the Bucks, it appears that Giannis Antetokounmpo going down with a calf strain was what fully unlocked Turner. After going off for 31 points in Tuesday’s loss to the 76ers, he finished Thursday’s defeat with his best all-around line of the season. Turner’s double-double was his third of the season; the rebound tally was a season-high, and he matched his previous high in blocks. Over the past two weeks, Turner has been a top-5 player in eight-cat formats.

Craig Porter Jr. (knee) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Suns.
Porter is dealing with a sore left knee. While his availability does not significantly affect fantasy basketball, the Cavaliers are already without Darius Garland (toe). If Porter can’t play, the Cavaliers will have to rely a bit more on Lonzo Ball, but he is not worth the risk in most fantasy leagues.
Hartenstein makes OKC 'competent' rebounding team
Noah Rubin unpacks Isaiah Hartenstein's return from injury for the Thunder against the Timberwolves, detailing how he can improve the team's performance in rebounds.
  • BKN Forward #1
Ziaire Williams (calf) is out for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Williams will miss a second consecutive game with a left calf contusion, freeing up minutes for some of the Nets’ other reserves. Jalen Wilson and Tyrese Martin have seen their opportunities increase, but neither is at the point where they should be streamed.
  • BKN Forward #17
Michael Porter Jr. (personal) is out for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
While Friday’s game is the second in as many nights for the Nets, Porter’s absence is for personal reasons rather than rest or injury management. Danny Wolf, who started Thursday’s game in place of the injured Noah Clowney, will once again figure prominently in the rotation, likely as a starter.
  • BKN Guard #24
Cam Thomas (hamstring) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Thomas is back after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets. The Nets have kept him at or below 25 minutes on most nights, so fantasy managers should not expect Thomas to play more, even with Michael Porter Jr. unavailable. Thomas can still provide tangible fantasy value, but his ceiling is limited due to his playing time.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney (back) is out for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Friday’s game will be the fourth that Clowney has missed, with the Nets citing back injury management as the reason. Terance Mann has moved into the starting lineup, but the production has not been good enough to merit being streamed in most leagues.
  • BKN Guard #8
Egor Dëmin (foot) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
After sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets, Dëmin is good to go for Friday night. His return will likely push Nolan Traoré to the bench, eliminating his streaming value.
  • MEM Guard-Forward #2
Ty Jerome (calf) is out for Friday’s game against the Pelicans.
While being assigned to the Grizzlies’ G League affiliate on Wednesday appeared to be a step in the right direction, Jerome still is not ready to make his first appearance of the season. Cam Spencer will continue to run the show as the Grizzlies remain without Ja Morant.
  • LAC Forward #2
Kawhi Leonard (knee) is available for Friday’s game against the Nuggets.
Initially questionable for Friday’s game, Leonard is officially good to go. His availability means that Kobe Sanders will remain with the reserves, eliminating most of the rookie’s streaming value.
  • Jonas Valančiūnas (calf) is probable for Friday’s game against the Clippers.
While Valančiūnas did not play both games of the Nuggets’ most recent back-to-back, he appears to be on track to play Friday night after logging 25 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Nets. With Nikola Jokić (knee) possibly returning on Friday, the Nuggets may be able to keep JV’s minutes down simply by having the three-time MVP in the lineup.
  • DEN Guard #27
Jamal Murray (hamstring, hip) is probable for Friday’s game against the Clippers.
Murray is back on the injury report, but the probable tag suggests that he’ll be available to play. And the Nuggets’ guard could have some help on Friday, as Nikola Jokić is questionable after missing the last month with a left knee injury.
