Luka Dončić (ankle) is available for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
Dončić twisted his ankle during Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers. The 26-year-old point guard was able to return and finish the game, but wound up on the injury report as questionable. Dončić will play Friday against the Wizards and should be without restriction.

Ty Jerome (calf) recorded 20 points (6-of-12 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), one rebound, six assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Timberwolves.
Rust? What rust? Saturday’s game was Jerome’s first after suffering a calf strain during the preseason. And the minutes limit didn’t matter, as the Grizzlies guard was highly productive in his 20 minutes on the floor. Cam Spencer (5/3/5/2 with one three-pointer) played 25 minutes off the bench, but Jerome’s immediate insertion into the starting lineup is a concern for those who held onto the second-year guard. Memphis’s four-game Week 16 includes a back-to-back, so Jerome may be limited to three games. That said, fantasy managers should add him immediately.
HLs: Jokic returns from knee injury, scores 31
Nikola Jokic had 31 points and 12 rebounds in his first game in a month to lead the Nuggets over the Clippers 122-109. Jokic, the three-time NBA MVP, missed 16 games after injuring his left knee in Miami on Dec. 29.
  • MEM Forward #0
Jaylen Wells accounted for 15 points (5-of-13 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, one assist and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Timberwolves.
Wells has hit double figures in six of his last seven games, a solid way for the second-year wing to finish January after starting the month slowly. For fantasy managers, the hope is that Wells can get back to the level he reached in December, when he averaged 14.3 points on 45 percent shooting and hit double figures in 11 of 12 games. Given the way in which the Grizzlies are trending, seeing what Wells can offer offensively when given more freedom may become a priority after the All-Star break.
  • MEM Small Forward #45
GG Jackson finished Saturday’s loss to the Timberwolves with 19 points (8-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, five assists, one block and one three-pointer.
While he did not move into the Grizzlies’ starting lineup on Saturday with Jaren Jackson Jr. (quad) sidelined, there were still ample opportunities for Jacksonto contribute. And he took advantage of them, with the 19 points being a season-high. Add in the rebounds and assists, and Saturday was a good night to roll the dice on the third-year forward. The Grizzlies open a four-game Week 16 on Monday against the Timberwolves, and GG will be worth a look if Jaren remains out.
  • MIN Center-Forward #11
Naz Reid produced 20 points (7-of-14 FGs), nine rebounds, five assists, three steals and six three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Grizzlies.
Reid, who’s reached double figures in four straight and six of his last seven games, had one of his best all-around games of the month on Saturday. The six three-pointers were a new season-high, and he was a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Over the past month, Reid has been a top-40 player in fantasy basketball according to Basketball Monster. If he’s sitting on the waiver wire in a shallow league, don’t hesitate to pick him up.
  • MIN Center #27
Rudy Gobert finished Saturday’s win over the Grizzlies with nine points (4-of-8 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs), 16 rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots.
Rebounds and defensive stats are the areas where Gobert can be most valuable to fantasy managers, and that’s how things played out on Saturday. He’s hit double digits in rebounds and blocked at least two shots in three of his last four outings. For those willing to punt free-throw percentage, Gobert has been a top-25 fantasy player this season. The Timberwolves play four games in Week 16.
  • MIN Forward #3
Jaden McDaniels recorded 20 points (8-of-14 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), four rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Grizzlies.
For the first time since early November, McDaniels has recorded back-to-back 20-point games. He’s also reached double figures in shot attempts in two straight games, and this level of aggression is what the Timberwolves need from McDaniels consistently. He got off to an excellent start to the season, but tailed off a bit after Christmas. Even if he doesn’t do much scoring, McDaniels will provide solid fantasy value. However, he’s a far different player when willing to look for his shot more often.
  • MIN Forward-Center #30
Julius Randle amassed 27 points (11-of-17 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), seven rebounds, seven assists, one steal and four three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Grizzlies.
While Randle’s defensive production wasn’t as robust as it was in Thursday’s win over the Thunder, he got back on track offensively. The Timberwolves’ forward was responsible for 27 points and seven assists, with the latter tally being the most in a game for him since December 29. The Timberwolves open a four-game Week 16 in Memphis on Monday, which is good news for those who have Randle on their fantasy rosters.
  • MIN Guard #5
Anthony Edwards accounted for 33 points (9-of-21 FGs, 14-of-16 FTs), two rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the Grizzlies.
Edwards finished Saturday’s victory with season-highs in made free throws and free-throw attempts, boosting his overall scoring output. He’s now scored 30 points or more in 20 games this season, with six having occurred in January. The Timberwolves open their four-game Week 16 with another game in Memphis on Monday, so another 30-point night may be in the cards for Ant-Man.
  • CHI Guard #11
Ayo Dosunmu erupted for a game-high 29 points (11-of-16 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), eight rebounds, nine assists and two steals on Saturday to power the Bulls to a 125-118 win over the Heat.
Dosunmu’s late scoring barrage, which included baskets on four straight possessions in the final three minutes, helped Chicago stave off a late rally from Miami. The speedy 26-year-old guard has been excellent of late, averaging 18.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocks across eight games over the past two weeks. The Bulls have a three-game week coming up that features matchups against the Bucks, Raptors and Nuggets.
  • MIA Center-Forward #13
Bam Adebayo amassed 21 points (7-of-18 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), 11 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 36 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Bulls.
Adebayo shook off an ice-cold stretch to put together an impressive 15-point fourth quarter where he knocked down 6-of-10 shots from the floor, sparking the Heat to a massive comeback effort that came up just short. The 28-year-old big man has delivered his usual blend of scoring and rebounding for fantasy purposes, averaging 18.1 points and 9.8 boards through 42 games. The Heat have a three-game week on tap including matchups against the Hawks, Celtics and Wizards.
