Jaylen Brown (Achilles) is out for Sunday’s game against the Hornets.

Brown will miss a second consecutive game due to left Achilles tendinitis. Baylor Scheierman started Friday’s win over the Hawks, finishing with three points, six rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer. The second-year guard’s production was underwhelming, but he has consistently been the replacement in the starting lineup when either Brown or Jayson Tatum is unavailable.

Isaiah Jackson accounted for 13 points (6-of-8 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds and one steal in Wednesday’s win over the Kings.

Jackson’s starting nod was expected to raise his fantasy ceiling, and he was productive Wednesday night. However, the Clippers’ center played just 15 minutes because of foul trouble. Backup Brook Lopez played 27 minutes, and that may not have happened if Jackson were able to stay on the court. Jackson is worth a look in 12-team leagues if he’s on the waiver wire, even with the foul trouble against Sacramento.
HLs: Jerome's career-high guides Grizzlies to win
Ty Jerome opened his season with a bang, scoring a career-high 45 points to overshadow the highly-touted rookies in this game and leading the Memphis Grizzlies to a home win over the Utah Jazz.

Darius Garland finished Wednesday’s win over the Kings with 30 points (11-of-19 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), one rebound, four assists, one steal and three three-pointers.

After a tumultuous offseason for the franchise, the Clippers got their 2026-27 off to a good start on Wednesday. Garland dominated his individual matchup against Kings rookie guard Darius Acuff Jr., scoring an efficient 30 points. Matchups will get tougher as the season progresses, but fantasy managers hope Garland delivers performances of this caliber more often.

Scoot Henderson accounted for 15 points (7-of-14 FGs), two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one three-pointer in Wednesday’s win over the Suns.

Among the four guards in Portland’s rotation, Henderson (19 minutes) played the least on Wednesday. He played nine of those minutes after halftime, while starters Ja Morant and Damian Lillard and reserve Jrue Holiday (8/4/1/2) logged between seven and nine minutes each. While Henderson having a role won’t be an issue for him, his playing time might be, especially against tougher opponents.

Walker Kessler with historic 26 points (12-of-12 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds, an assist, and two blocks in win.

With the Warriors starting Draymond Green at center, Walker Kessler got whatever he wanted in the paint with plenty of wide-open dunks. His stat line is more about the Warriors than it is about Kessler, but Walker took advantage of the situation, and you’re feeling very happy about his performance.

Miles Bridges tallied eight points (3-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, one steal and one blocked shot in Wednesday’s loss to the Trail Blazers.

Making his first official appearance in a Suns uniform, Bridges played 29 minutes in Wednesday’s 41-point defeat. The ankle injury he suffered early in the preseason may have played a role, with the Suns hoping to give Bridges more run to build his stamina. Unfortunately, he did little against the Trail Blazers’ deep reserves in what would be a lost night. As he showed in Charlotte, Bridges can provide solid category-league value, but it remains to be seen if that can carry over to Phoenix.

Austin Reaves with 23 points (6-of-11 FGs, 10-of-10 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, two steals, a block, and a three in win against Warriors.

If you drafted Austin Reaves, you will be very happy after tonight. We’re not expecting Austin to get to the free throw line as much as he did in this game, but this is what you would expect from Austin Reaves if you drafted him. He will be in contention to finish in the top 15 this year in fantasy basketball.

Luka Dončić with 28 points (7-of-18 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and five 3-pointers in 127-105 win against Warriors

Luka had fun going at Yaxel all game and put up his usual monster stat line. Luka seems like a lock to finish top 4 of fantasy leagues, and if you drafted him, you’re feeling very happy about your selection. You’re just hoping that the turnovers stay low, and he hits his free throws.

Draymond Green had 2 points (1-of-4 FGs), four rebounds, eight assists, a steal, and a block in 21 minutes.

Draymond did what he could to try and stop the Warriors, but the Lakers shot ___% from the field in this game. You would like more scoring from Draymond but you know what you’re getting with him at this point. Good rebounds, good assists from a big man, good defensive numbers, and low scoring.

Gui Santos put up 12 points (5-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, a steal, and a three in 24 minutes.

Gui Santos has established himself as one of the best young players on the Warriors. The depth on the Warriors is very thin, so Gui’s role should be stable moving forward. He will have ample opportunities to grow this year and could be used as a streamer in redraft leagues.

Jalen Green notched 10 points (4-of-12 FGs), two rebounds, three assists, one block and two three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Trail Blazers.

Green scored eight of his ten points in the first half of Wednesday’s 124-83 defeat, offering minimal fantasy value in his 25 minutes. Injuries eliminated most of his fantasy value last season, the first year in which Green did not play at least 67 games. If he stays relatively healthy, Green can offer some value to fantasy managers, especially in points leagues.
