Anthony Gill tallied 21 points (8-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 Fts), six rebounds, six assists and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the 76ers.
Not only did Gill finish Wednesday’s defeat with a career-high point total, but this was his first 20-point game as a pro. The veteran forward/center logged 35 minutes off the bench and was highly accurate shooting the basketball. Add in the rebounds and assists, and this was an excellent night for Gill. However, this changes nothing regarding his fantasy outlook for the rest of Week 23. He should remain on the waiver wire in most leagues.

HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto reports that the Warriors signed Charles Bassey.
One day after his second 10-day contract with the Celtics expired, Bassey is reportedly headed west. He’ll fill the void left by Omer Yurtseven, whose 10-day deal with the Warriors expired a few days ago.
Mannix: Jokic-Wemby, SA vs. DEN was 'high-level'
Chris Mannix recaps a high-level regular season game between the San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets with superstars Nikola Jokic and Victor Wembanyama battling it out in an exciting overtime game.
  • WAS Guard-Forward #9
Justin Champagnie (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Despite his right knee contusion, Champagnie played 21 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Heat, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal. If he plays, there may be more minutes available, as starters Bilal Coulibaly and Tre Johnson are also questionable.
  • WAS Guard #0
Bilal Coulibaly (heel) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Coulibaly, who continues to deal with bursitis in his right heel, played 25 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Heat. If he can’t go in Brooklyn, Justin Champagnie could move into the starting lineup. However, Champagnie is also considered questionable due to a right knee contusion.
  • WAS Guard #12
Tre Johnson (foot) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Johnson was also questionable ahead of Saturday’s loss to the Heat, a game in which he played 25 minutes. If the rookie can’t go on Sunday, Leaky Black may be in line for more playing time after logging four minutes in Miami.
  • WAS Forward #00
Tristan Vukčević (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Vukčević did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Heat, resulting in Anthony Gill starting and playing 25 minutes. Fantasy managers can expect the same if Vukčević remains out. Julian Reese played only 10 minutes in Miami and is not worth the risk as a streamer.
  • WAS Center #20
Alex Sarr (toe) is out for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Sunday’s game will be the fifth Sarr has missed due to left big toe capsulitis. If Tristan Vukčević can play, he’s likely to be in the starting lineup, with Anthony Gill serving as the backup. And in this scenario, Julian Reese could be made inactive.
  • CHI Forward #14
Matas Buzelis (illness) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Suns.
Buzelis is a new addition to the Bulls’ already-crowded injury report. If he can’t play, Leonard Miller is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup. Miller would be worth streaming if allowed to start.
  • SAC Guard #0
Malik Monk (personal) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Clippers.
Monk is back after missing Friday’s win over the Pelicans for personal reasons. He’ll provide depth and production off the bench, and his return is likely to result in fewer minutes for Daeqwon Plowden.
  • GSW Forward #15
Gui Santos (pelvis) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.
Santos was not fully healthy in Thursday’s loss to the Cavaliers, but he still logged 31 minutes and scored 25 points. Stephen Curry (knee) is expected to return, but his playing time will be restricted. Santos will continue to figure prominently in the Warriors’ rotation, even if he comes off the bench.
  • GSW Guard #31
Seth Curry (adductor) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.
Curry did not play in Thursday’s loss to the Cavaliers after logging ten minutes the previous night against San Antonio. His availability won’t affect fantasy basketball, especially with Stephen Curry (knee) expected to return on Sunday.
