Winners of 10 consecutive games, the Knicks are now one win away from their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999. Brunson, who was limited to more of a setup role in Game 2, led the way in Game 3 with a game-high 30 points. He didn’t make a three-pointer, but that didn’t matter much, with the Knicks’ point guard attempting 12 free throws and making 10. No matter who the Cavaliers have assigned to defend Brunson, he’s managed to impact the action in all three games in some way. He’ll look to do the same in Game 4 on Monday, with the Knicks going for a second consecutive sweep.

The Grizzlies will welcome another frontcourt player this offseason with the addition of Post, who joins newcomers Cameron Boozer, Isaiah Stewart and Jerami Grant. Post played two seasons with Golden State and averaged 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.5 three-pointers across 109 regular-season games. His value comes as a floor spacer, despite shooting only 33.6 percent from deep last season. He’ll have a chance to bounce back on a Grizzlies team entering a new era.

Veesaar logged 24 minutes and showcased some of the long-distance shooting that made him an intriguing prospect. He finished as one of six Hawks players to score in double figures, with his four assists being a nice bonus. Veesaar was selected in the second round of the most recent draft and could have a chance to play minutes for the Hawks this season. His progress will be worth following throughout the summer.

The details from the reported six-team trade are still unfolding, but what’s already known is that Russell is heading to Memphis. The veteran guard had a tough 2025-26 season, playing just 26 total games with the Mavericks before being traded to the Wizards and never logging a minute for Washington. He’ll likely have a chance to play decent minutes for a Grizzlies team that recently traded away its superstar point guard, Ja Morant. If so, Russell could have some value in fantasy leagues this upcoming season.

Middleton will head back to the Wizards, a team he spent parts of the past two seasons with. The veteran was dealt from the Wizards to the Mavericks during the 2025-26 season, but in the 34 games he appeared in before being traded, he averaged 10.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists. He’s unlikely to be much of a factor in fantasy basketball next season.

The veteran guard will now head to his fourth NBA team after the reported trade between the Bucks and Pistons. Harris has seen his fantasy value decline since leaving Denver via trade in the 2020-21 season, with his minutes and scoring decreasing in each of the past four seasons. He averaged 2.7 points over 48 games for Milwaukee last season and is not expected to be fantasy-relevant with the Pistons.

The multi-player deal will allow Prince to have a fresh start in Detroit and compete for playing time on a contending team. Detroit has a fairly established roster following a first-place finish in the Eastern Conference last season, which will make it difficult for Prince to find enough opportunities to have much fantasy impact. He averaged 9.2 points in only 26 appearances with Milwaukee during the 2025-26 season.

LeVert logged the fewest minutes per game of his career last season in Detroit and, as a result, was as inefficient and unproductive a scorer as ever. His move to Milwaukee will give him an opportunity to compete for playing time on a team that isn’t anticipated to contend after trading away franchise cornerstone Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat early this offseason. Still, LeVert is not expected to hold much fantasy value for the 2026-27 season.

The 30th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, Looney is back in the Pacific Division after one season with the New Orleans Pelicans. Having spent his entire NBA career outside of the 2024-25 campaign with the Warriors, the veteran center was limited to just 21 appearances last season. While Looney will give the Lakers the needed depth at center behind new starter Walker Kessler, he’s unlikely to have an impact on fantasy basketball.

Biberovic was drafted by Memphis in the second round in 2023, but he never came over to the NBA, outside of summer league. Dallas acquired Biberovic in a trade, and he’ll finally make the trip across the sea to sign with the Mavericks.

While this shouldn’t impact Brunson’s availability to start next season, it does make his Finals MVP run even more impressive. Scoring 45 points in a closeout win while dealing with an injury in his shooting wrist is just another testament to Brunson’s resilience. He’ll still have plenty of time to get in shape prior to training camp.
