Rudy Gobert recorded 12 points (6-of-6 FGs, 0-of-3 FTs), eight rebounds, two steals and one block in Saturday’s loss to the Magic.

Given his general shot profile, Gobert not missing in a game isn’t all that surprising. He made all six of his attempts against the Magic while providing solid value in the rebound and assist categories, playing 33 minutes. Since the All-Star break, Gobert has been close to a top-50 player in nine-cat formats, according to Basketball Monster. The Timberwolves play four games in Week 20, starting with the Lakers on Tuesday and the Clippers the following night.
Julius Randle

Julius Randle tallied 14 points (6-of-14 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, one assist, two steals and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Timberwolves.

Randle finished one rebound shy of a double-double on Saturday, but the final line felt underwhelming due to the point total. Averaging 21.5 points per game on the season, the Timberwolves forward has just one 20-point game since the All-Star break. The Timberwolves, and those who have him on their fantasy rosters, need more scoring from Randle.
Anthony Edwards

MIN Guard #5

Anthony Edwards accounted for 34 points (8-of-18 FGs, 13-of-14 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and five three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Magic.

Edwards put up a robust stat line on Saturday, but he didn’t get much help in the 119-92 defeat. Jaden McDaniels (three points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals) shot 0-of-9 from the field, and Donte DiVincenzo (two rebounds, four assists and one steal) went scoreless, missing all six of his attempts. Edwards and the Timberwolves won’t play again in Week 19, but they have four games in Week 20.
Kyle Anderson

Kyle Anderson (knee) is out for Saturday’s game against the Magic.

Anderson is out after being listed as questionable with right knee soreness. The 32-year-old small forward played 14 and 15 minutes in his last two games, so his absence will free up some minutes at the back end of the Timberwolves’ bench rotation. Similarly, his absence will have minimal impact on fantasy basketball.

Joe Ingles (personal) is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game against the Magic.

Ingles is back with the team after missing Thursday’s win over the Raptors for personal reasons. His availability won’t affect fantasy basketball, as he is not in the rotation on most nights.

Kyle Anderson (knee) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Magic.

Anderson, who has played 14 and 15 minutes in his last two games, is dealing with a sore right knee. If he can’t play on Saturday, his absence frees up minutes on the back end of the Timberwolves’ rotation. In the game preceding Anderson’s return to Minnesota, head coach Chris Finch went with an eight-man rotation instead of nine.
Naz Reid

MIN Center-Forward #11

Naz Reid (shoulder) recorded 12 points (5-of-12 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one three-pointer in Thursday’s win over the Raptors.

Reid exited Thursday’s game during the third quarter after injuring his right shoulder while scrambling for a loose ball with Toronto’s Sandro Mamukelashvili. The good news is that he did return during the fourth quarter, so fantasy managers may not have much to worry about. The Timberwolves play once more in Week 19, Saturday against the Magic.
Julius Randle

MIN Forward-Center #30

Julius Randle tallied 17 points (5-of-11 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in Thursday’s win over the Raptors.

While Randle’s post-All-Star break struggles from beyond the arc continued on Thursday, as he missed both of his attempts, the veteran forward’s overall value has been better recently. Since the break, he’s shot 3-of-21 from distance, and Randle has struggled with that aspect of his game all season. However, the decreased three-point shooting has not done much damage, if any, to his overall fantasy value.
Rudy Gobert

MIN Center #27

Rudy Gobert finished Thursday’s win over the Raptors with 18 points (7-of-8 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal and three blocks.

One game removed from grabbing a season-high 19 rebounds, Gobert was active in all facets on Thursday. The 18 points were three more than his total in Minnesota’s prior three games, and he’s hit double figures in rebounds in all six games that he’s played since the All-Star break. Also, Gobert matched his season-high with five assists. The offensive production can be a struggle at times, as the 7-foot-1 center can become an afterthought on that end of the floor. However, that doesn’t prevent Gobert from offering a solid return in other areas.
Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards amassed 22 points (8-of-12 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and five three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Raptors.

Edwards, who was added to the Timberwolves’ injury report early Thursday afternoon, seemingly took a step back offensively after a dominant showing in Tuesday’s win over the Grizzlies. Whether this was a matter of his right foot being an issue is tough to say, but the 12 shot attempts were the fewest in a game for Ant-Man since February 11 (ten vs. Portland). The good news for fantasy managers was that Edwards finished with a solid overall stat line that included him shooting 5-of-8 from beyond the arc.
