Jordan Farmar out at least another week for Lakers
The Lakers are playing without any healthy point guards at the moment, which is making things difficult on the team overall, but especially on Kobe Bryant.
Bryant leads the league in turnovers with 5.7 per contest, and while he’s only played six games, it’s substantially more than Stephen Curry’s 4.2 per game for the season. This was a roundabout way of letting you know that the Lakers are struggling without any skilled ball-handlers who have the ability to competently initiate the offense and willingly create open looks for their teammates. And it’s going to be at least another week or so until any help is potentially on the horizon.
INJURY UPDATE: Jordan Farmar’s ultrasound shows progress but his hamstring is still not healed. He’s been ruled out at least another week.

Farmar is scheduled to be re-evaluated Dec. 24, but there’s no guarantee he’s able to return shortly thereafter.
The injury was suffered on Dec. 1, with a stated timetable back then of four weeks. Farmar has averaged 9.2 points and 4.4 assists in 18.9 minutes per game for the Lakers this season.
