The Clippers are on the edge of a heated playoff race.

They’ll probably have to make the final push without Danilo Gallinari, who aggravated his hand injury.

Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times:

Gallinari said he will travel with the Clippers Wednesday for Thursday night’s game at the Utah Jazz. The Clippers, however, don’t see the forward playing the rest of the season with this latest setback.

Gallinari has already missed 57 games this season. Injuries were always the main concern about signing him. The 29-year-old is guaranteed $44,203,138 over the next two years.

The more pressing concern in L.A. is making the playoffs. The Clippers will have to rely more on C.J. Williams and maybe even Wesley Johnson and Sam Dekker.
