With Trey Burke sidelined, are Jazz in market for point guard?

No sooner than I had picked Utah’s Trey Burke as my Rookie of the Year prediction, he goes and breaks a finger.

Burke could be out 3-6 weeks, according to his father, but we don’t have anything official yet. Bottom line is he is missing the start of the season and could be out for a month of the season.

With him out it leaves John Lucas and, if you want to play him at the point, Alec Burks. Might the Jazz look to trade for a little help? They might, tweets Marc Stein of ESPN.

Coach Ty Corbin didn’t exactly deny they were looking around.

Just something to watch, particularly if Burke’s injury will take longer to heal than his father suggests.
